Foundation of Vinaconex’s construction consultant JSC

Vinaconsult JSC, established in 1997, is a construction consulting firm and a member of Vinaconex Corporation, a leading entity in Vietnam's construction import and export sector As a self-sustaining and legally recognized enterprise, Vinaconsult operates across Vietnam and internationally, fulfilling its designated roles and responsibilities effectively.

Vinaconex’s Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company, known as VINACONSULT, was established on March 24, 1997, under Decision No.: 178/BXD-TCLD by the Ministry of Construction Initially comprising 10 engineers, it became part of the Import and Export Corporation and Vietnam Construction (Vinaconex) On May 10, 1997, the company expanded its focus to include water supply design and surveying, leading to significant growth in both quality and quantity Now operating as an independent entity with legal status, VINACONSULT engages in national and international cooperation, boasting a diverse team of 150 professionals across various fields, including Architecture, Planning, Construction, Water Supply and Environment, Communications, and Business Economics, offering comprehensive multi-disciplinary construction consultancy services.

Over 10 years of development, with enthusiasm and passion for career attempts, the company has overcome all difficulties and challenges to assert its foothold in the marketplace And so far, the company has always occupied the top position in the field of construction consultants of the Corporation And on the Vietnam market, the company has always been a prestigious unit in construction consultancy for years It has many works receiving the national architectural award, top quality prize of the Association of National Advisory associated with the development phase of the Corporation and of the country, has been the generation of officers company's staff created

Vinaconex’s Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company has been granted Certificate of Trade Registration No 0103003459 by Planning and Investment Department belonging to Hanoi People’s Committee for the following services:

- Consult in investment: Prepare investment project, appraise the investment project on civil industrial, transportation, irrigation, small hydro-power, water drainage-supply and environment

- Consult in tender: Prepare bidding document, project management, construction supervision

- Carry out topographical, geotechnical and hydro geology survey for design and for preparing investment projects

- Make out planning for inhabitant areas, urban areas, and industrial zones

We specialize in consulting and designing a wide range of civil and industrial projects, including schools, hospitals, cultural and art facilities, sports complexes, as well as interior and exterior decoration Our expertise extends to infrastructure projects such as roads and ports, irrigation systems, hydro-power plants, and electrical installations for cables and transformers under 50kV Additionally, we focus on water drainage, supply systems, and environmental projects, ensuring comprehensive solutions for diverse engineering needs.

History of Development

 Vinaconex’ Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company was established from these units:

- Vinaconex’s Construction Consultancy Centre belonging to Vietnam Construction Import-Export Corporation

- Water Drainage Supply, design, survey Enterprise belonging to WASEENCO Water drainage-supply construction Company – Vietnam Construction Import- Export Corporation – Vinaconex

- Technical economic consultancy Centre of Construction Company no.1 – Vinaconex Corporation

- Design consultancy Centre of Development investment Company – Hanoi Architect University

Vinaconex’s Construction Consultant Joint Stock Company was established on March 24, 1997, under decision No 178/BXD-TCLDD by the Ministry of Construction From 1997 to 2000, the company prioritized staff development and executed foreign-invested water supply projects across Vietnam Notable projects during this period included a water supply system in Viet Tri with a capacity of 36,000 m³/day and another in Ha Giang with a capacity of 10,000 m³/day The company operates from its headquarters, Vinaconex 3, and has additional offices at Vinaconex 1.

Between 2000 and 2003, the rapid economic growth spurred significant business restructuring, particularly in corporate investments Vinaconsult JSC capitalized on this boom by providing essential architecture and construction consultancy services, successfully completing detailed planning for key projects such as the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park, Bac Phu Cat Industrial Zone, and the award-winning Trang Tien Trade Centre, as well as the Thanh Hoa Commercial Center and the Conference Center.

Thanh Hoa province is home to the Trung Hoa - Nhan Chinh urban high-rise, which is the first project in Vietnam to apply new construction technologies Additionally, on October 30, 2003, the Ministry of Construction issued decision number 1436/QD-BXD, transforming the Construction Consultancy Company of the Vietnam Construction Import-Export Corporation into a joint stock company.

Since October 2003, the company has transitioned to a joint-stock model, enhancing its integration into global and regional markets This shift has led to the establishment of various projects that cater to the needs of both corporations and consumers, including the Yen Binh Cement Plant, Cam Pha Cement Plant, and a water supply system capable of producing 300,000 m³ per day Additionally, developments such as the Ha Dong Trade Center and the Cai Gia Cat Ba tourist area in Hai Phong exemplify the company’s commitment to growth and service expansion.

The North An Khanh Project Management Office operates under the oversight of the agency company, providing essential management functions Its primary role is to advise the Board and the General Director of the North An Khanh Project Management.

During my internship at Vinaconsult, I served as a Project Management Professional within the Marketing & Project Management Center My initial task involved understanding and evaluating the company's business activities and results, followed by a review of the core courses in the Master program.

Through 15 years of operation, Vinaconsult met many advantages and difficulties in the course of business activities And the result, the company has gained many achievements, such as:

The global economic recession has significantly impacted Vinaconsult and many domestic and foreign enterprises, intensifying competition that necessitates greater effort from the company Additionally, internal coordination among departments is lacking, and recruitment regulations fail to attract and retain a skilled workforce capable of working independently This has led to slow work progress and numerous flaws in design documents, primarily due to insufficient managerial oversight and delays in information processing that hinder timely project advancement.

In 2009, the company's total output value reached 31.873 million, marking a significant increase of 115.6% compared to 2008 This upward trend continued in 2010, with the output value rising to 37.723 million, a growth of 118% from the previous year In 2011, the output value further increased to 45.063 million, reflecting a 120% rise compared to 2010 By 2012, the company achieved a total output value of 50.188 million, which represented an increase of 111% over 2011.

Total revenue in 2009 was 21.653 million, up 108,8% compared to 2008 revenues 2010 sales reached 27.952 million, up 129% compared to 2009 2011 sales reached 36.893 million, up 132% compared to 2010 In 2012, sales reached 42.824 million, up 116% compared to 2011

Negotiation is a formal method of conflict resolution used to reach agreements on significant issues It is essential for securing my company's collaboration with partners to achieve mutual goals Effective negotiation skills lead to greater benefits and successful outcomes.

This course explores corporate and cultural communication theories, equipping you with essential tools to analyze business communication scenarios It enhances your ability to make informed communication decisions grounded in theory and analysis, while also building upon your existing communication skills.

This course provided me with valuable insights into international standard certifications for goods, including DIN, CE, FDA, and ISO I can now incorporate this knowledge as a crucial requirement in the technical specifications for bidding documents.

This course helped me to understand the standard articles of international contract form and law, from there, I can complete contract form in draft bidding document

Understanding the taxation system is essential for preparing a comprehensive price list in contracts, which includes design fees, supervision consultancy fees, taxes, and repair and maintenance costs This valuable information aids our partners in creating effective bidding documents.

Achievement of the Internship
