CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

1 An overview of VUS 1.1 Location and profile VUS English Center is an English center with branches spread across provinces and cities in Vietnam | applied for an internship at the branch center in Becamex Established in 2010 and has now expanded with more than 70 branches across major cities in Vietnam VUS provides English training programs for students of all ages The center uses internationally recognized curriculum and teaching methods to deliver high-quality English teaching VUS has a team of highly qualified native English-speaking teachers as well as experienced Vietnamese lecturers

1.2 Main objectives

To provide accessible, affordable, and effective English language education to students in Vietnam To help Vietnamese learners of all ages improve their English proficiency for academic, professional, and personal development To promote cross- cultural understanding and communication through English language instruction To maintain high standards of teaching quality and continuously improve the learning experience for students

1.3 Structure of the company VUS English Centre is structured as a private limited company It is led by a management team consisting of the founder, CEO, academic directors, and regional branch managers The company has separate departments for curriculum development, teacher training, student enrollment, marketing, and operations VUS has a decentralized structure, with considerable autonomy given to branch managers

to cater to the needs of local communities The organization places a strong emphasis

on staff development, quality assurance, and technological innovation in language teaching

CHAPTER 2: OVERVIEW OF INTERSHIP

Today, | have two classes My first class starts at 5 p.m

| have to come in 15 minutes early to prepare some suf for the class and also review the previous day's lesso the children Before entering the class, | will go to teaching assistant manager to take attendance Then, teacher care room, | will prepare some necessary suf for the class When entering the class, | will greet children in English and ask them some daily communica sentences On the first day, | will set a rule that when children enter the class, they will have to submit th homework and get their own name tags After they h submitted their homework, | will make sure the classra and seating are arranged After reviewing the lesson, |

to pay attention and remember which children h mastered the knowledge | will give praise, and for th who do not review, | will remind them When it comes writing comments, | will take notes for the counselors remind the parents When the class starts, it is usuall vocabulary writing part, so the children will be quite sta Then | will grade the exercises, and | will take attendana the class record During the course of the classes | go usually use English completely when reminding instructing the children; that will become a habit and f the children get used to English more easily, and since ¢ class is like that, the children's exposure to English increase If some children do not understand, | will sp and combine actions Because they are still children, understandable that they do not fully understand

teacher's instructions in English In cases where the ch still do not understand, | will supplement in Vietnamese help them understand the lesson as well as the sent commonly used in class | will also help them check t grammar and suggest ideas for their writing exercise addition, | will translate any difficult vocabulary for the while the teacher is teaching At the end of the class, | have to write down at least five students in the class fo Today's class was quite good because the class was small | completed the tasks in the class very well But p.m., | was quite panicked because the children \ younger and the class was quite crowded, so it was difficult to control the class to keep it stable But in gene after today, | have also experienced all the processes i class, which has helped me define them more clearly, 4 will try to complete those processes better
