When it comes to Vietnamese tea, we can't help but be surprised by the beauty of the cool green tea hills and the richness of teas with delicious flavors typical of each region Currently, Vietnamese tea is grown and produced throughout the country, from the North and South to the highlands such as Da Lat, Bao Loc, Son La, Dien Bien, Black tea is also known as Hong Tea is one of Vietnam's famous tea products, black tea accounts for 60% of Vietnam's total export
turnover of 300 million USD per year
Why, therefore, would one seek to export black tea from Syria? The second-biggest importer of dried black tea leaves worldwide is Syria Tea has deep cultural roots in Syria It is often served with hospitality and warmth, reflecting the country's traditions and social customs The act of sharing tea symbolizes friendship, respect, and connection among people As health awareness increases globally, consumers are becoming more conscious of the health benefits of tea Black tea, known for its antioxidants and potential health advantages, continues to attract health- conscious consumers

The Government of Vietnam values friendship and cooperation with the Syrian Arab Republic and looks forward to further strengthening cooperation in many aspects with Syria, especially in infrastructure investment and trade Vietnamese Ambassador to Iran and Syria, Mr Luong Quoc Huy, presented his Credentials to the Syrian Foreign Minister, Mr Fayssal Al-Mikdad, after the Credentials Presentation Ceremony At the meeting, Mr Luong Quoc Huy conveyed President Nguyen Xuan Phuc's respectful greetings to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad He also expressed
his admiration for an indomitable and resilient Vietnam in the war to protect the Fatherland and
achieved many great economic achievements in building and developing the country The Syrian Foreign Minister also expressed his desire to further strengthen political and economic relations with Vietnam During this time, Ambassador Luong Quoc Huy also had a meeting with Mr Median Ali Diab, General Director of the Syrian Investment Agency, to discuss market information, opportunities, and measures to promote investment between the two countries businesses of two countries Mr Median Ali Diab affirmed that Syria is a potential investment market for Vietnamese businesses, especially in the fields of agriculture, construction, and energy Vietnam and Syria, although not having many economic relations, still maintain political connections and wish to strengthen cooperation in many fields.(Dang, 2022)

Syria and Vietnam have developed strongly in recent years According to a report from the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam, bilateral trade turnover between the two countries has increased from 40 million USD in 2010 to 60 million USD in 2020 Vietnam exports mainly textiles, garments and shoes sandals, seafood, coffee, rice and other industrial products, while importing petroleum and chemical products from Syria Vietnamese businesses have also participated in a number of investment projects in Syria, mainly in the fields of construction and manufacturing.(Thuvienphapluat, 2024)
Although economic relations between Syria and Vietnam have not developed to a great extent, there have been some positive signs:

Development potential: Although there are still many challenges, strengthening economic cooperation between Syria and Vietnam can bring benefits to both sides Vietnam and Syria should continue to seek cooperation opportunities in different fields to develop economic relations and promote sustainable development
