1 Introduction

For most of us, the concept of "exchanging recyclable waste for stone lotus" isnot new This project promotes recycling waste as a means of protecting theenvironment because it aims to be environmentally friendly By working together toprotect the environment, it also strengthens ties among the community members Theseare also the explanations for the topic selection made by our team for this project

1.1 Objectives

Exchanging recycled waste for succulents is a project that brings many benefits

to the environment and society The implementation of this innovation aims toencourage everyone to contribute to the project to promote recycling activities throughthe installation of stone lotus flowers to create a sustainable and aesthetically pleasingenvironment On the other hand, implementing the project of exchanging trash forsucculents not only protects a clean and beautiful green environment but also reducesthe amount of toxic waste caused to the community By encouraging people toparticipate in exchanging recyclable waste for stone lotus to actively promote recyclingbehavior for the community This not only reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills

or pollutes the environment, but also arouses a sense of responsibility to protect theenvironment among participants We believe that protecting the environment is notonly the responsibility of large organizations or governments but the responsibility ofeach individual member of the community

However, when we finish the project of exchanging recyclable waste for succulents,

we will develop knowledge through practice and learning Besides, we will learn how

encounter during the project implementation in order to build and explore throughout.study process To carry out this project, we must research extensively and closely toapply it effectively in practice This opportunity will determine our autonomy andmotivate us to work hard and have good plans In addition, exchanging recyclablewaste for succulent plants not only brings meaning but also creates high-value products.

We also learned more about the harvesting process of the succulent plant, which is abeautiful plant and acts as an attractive force that creates excitement for the community

On the other hand, the project of exchanging recyclable waste for succulents is not onlyenvironmentally sustainable but also brings a number of extremely important benefits.This has influenced educational programs to raise awareness that can be promoted bythe organization to educate participants about the importance of waste management Inthis way, we will provide knowledge and raise awareness of the project to help peoplebetter understand the connection between human actions and people's health Choosing

to transmit sustainable knowledge information promotes the responsibility to protectenvironmental culture throughout time and provides opportunities for many people tocome together for a common purpose, regardless of age, background or status Socio-economic development through collaborative efforts in collecting recyclable waste andcontributing to the installation of succulents to experience a sense of empowerment andbelonging, promoting a harmonious community structure more integrated andconnected

Although the recyclable waste for succulents project is a comprehensive approach topromoting environmentally sustainable recycling, there are some clear exclusions andlimitations in its scope The project specifically focuses on recyclable materials andeliminates the collection or exchange of hazardous materials to ensure participantsafety and prevent environmental pollution Hazardous waste such as certain chemicals,batteries and electronic waste pose risks to public health and the environment if nothandled properly Furthermore, the exchange of waste for succulents may limitparticipants because the geographical scope and reach may be limited in areas or

Our group has 3 members: Giang, Nhi and Thoa Each team member hasdifferent roles and responsibilities, supporting and helping each other throughout theprocess to complete the project

3 Project Execution

3.1 Execution Phase Overview

First, our group came to the following conclusions: the project's goals are topreserve the environment, foster community connections, deliver messages, andincrease public awareness of waste recycling It is a non-profit project in particular Inaddition, the primary methods we employ to increase project awareness are: Creatingrelevant content; and Reaching a wider audience through social media platforms—images and meanings related to environmental themes

3.3 Challenges Faced and Solutions

When working together, my team members respect each other opinions andalways work together to complete the project But occasionally, there will be problemswith communication about ideas, and inconsistent work schedules Ultimately, werealized that everyone is an individual and that disagreements during group projects aretypical Conflicts help us better understand one another and identify each otheradvantages and disadvantages so that we can assign tasks most effectively In addition,

we have time management skills and know how to meet and discuss projects duringdowntime In summary, teamwork challenges are unavoidable; each member mustrespect, listen, and contribute ideas, as well as encourage and support one another tofinish the task well

4 Project Monitoring and Control

4.1 Progress Metrics

Project management performance metrics are used to assess theeffectiveness and profitability of a project Our team collected and compared theprocedures in each step of the project with the aims and objectives We summarizedevery task from the start to the finish By monitoring performance metrics, teamleaders will be able to manage projects more effectively Following the first week(October 20–27) and the second week (October 27–November 3), the waste types andquantity of stone lotuses that our group collected are shown in the table below

5 Stakeholder Communication (Optional)

Stakeholder Communication is an essential factor for the success of thetrash-for-stone lotus project By identifying and engaging key stakeholders,develop communication strategies that address and respond to stakeholders toensure alignment First, Identified Stakeholders, the people are the mainbeneficiaries, contributing recyclable waste and taking stone lotus to enhancetheir position in the community These collective contributions not only supportproject development and form a strong network, but also bring about a unifiedeffort towards environmental management and community welfare Next, topromote the participation of stakeholders, Communication Strategies will help usbuild meticulously For community outreach events, convey information directly

to local people and businesses to clarify benefits and describe simpleparticipation processes, promoting a sense of community ownership Besides,participating in exchanging recyclable waste for stone lotus through pages,Facebook, Zalo is a wide-ranging tactic that will ensure information saturationand people's interaction This tactic is intended to promote stakeholderengagement and foster a collaborative environment conducive to project success.Finally, Stakeholder Feedback Collecting and addressing stakeholder feedbackthrough surveys and engagement is important This information helps evaluateproject performance, identify challenges and make suggestions for enhancements.Appropriate communication and effective engagement strategies fosteralignment, attract support, and maximize project impact

6 Lessons Learned

The project of exchanging recyclable waste for succulents is a significantturning point to encourage community participation This project has createdmotivation through providing attractive rewards such as lotus stones to motivate the

community to recycle, reduce landfill waste and increase environmental awareness Byimplementing the project, we have learned experience about one of the importantfactors to confirm the useful values that the project brings in the future Theachievement is to bring new experiences to everyone and raise people's awarenessabout waste classification, and increase participation in protecting and preventingenvironmental pollution Contribute to building a clean environment Successfullymanaging and recycling scrap effectively and bringing many benefits to theenvironment Create conditions for a healthy development environment without beingpolluted by waste, especially batteries that can pollute water sources and are difficult todecompose, causing unpredictable consequences In addition, there are two areas thatneed improvement: social and environmental In the social field, society plays animportant role in propagating and raising people's awareness in protecting theenvironment to be green, clean and beautiful Improve quality of life through properwaste classification In the field of environment: protecting the environment frompollution, ensuring the quality and living environment of everyone is not affected bywaste The environment contributes to people's lives so much that it is necessary toparticipate in this activity to protect it The importance is to draw lessons for yourselfand bring useful values to society and the environment, contributing to environmentalprotection as well as raising awareness and developing projects in the future.

7 Achievements and Deliverables

The process of implementing the waste for succulents project is a process ofimproving performance and completing final deliverables as well as bringing aboutimportant achievements and milestones This project has brought achievements andachieved goals and benefits such as project completion time, requirements beingfulfilled, project effectiveness, measuring increased participation recycling, werecorded a clear increase in recyclable collections based on weight or volume datacollected before and after the program The deliverable product of the project is to fullyimplement the project implementation process and hand over all the lotus stones to the

them projects connected to local traditions or beliefs The final deliverable is toprovide the number of stone lotus and the amount of recycled waste used in the project,calculate their quantity and present the results obtained The project's achievements are

to bring beneficial values to society and the environment, perform well inenvironmental protection and bring new experiences, preserve culture and createopportunities for economic development international In particular, the project wascompleted well within the prescribed time, the project was effective and achieved thegoal set from the beginning of giving a sufficient number of stone lotus to everyone toexchange recyclable waste for lotus stone An important milestone is the milestone ofcompleting the project on schedule and determining the final results of the project interms of the number of used succulents and the amount of recycled waste collected Insummary, these factors have contributed to completing the project according to theprescribed schedule, meeting project implementation conditions and bringing the bestresults The exchange of recyclable waste to receive stone lotus has helped peopleclearly understand the value of the project, which is practical and applicable in thefuture, as well as bringing the project to develop more in the future for everyone toknow and implement to protect the environment

8 Group Dynamics and Collaboration

Team motivation and cooperation are two factors that bring success to thisproject, it contributes to the project completion process and brings many commonbenefits to the team Teamwork motivation is understanding, sharing, andsympathizing with problems encountered during the project process Work motivationalso depends on each situation the group encounters, setting a common goal for theproject and completing that goal In addition, the challenge in the group work process

is not being able to agree on a fixed time when working in groups, not being able togive common opinions among members, and not being able to agree on specificdecisions in the content of the group work project Those were some challengesencountered during group work, but they were improved through the confidant actions
