Exchanging recycled waste for succulents is a project that brings many benefits
to the environment and society The implementation of this innovation aims toencourage everyone to contribute to the project to promote recycling activities throughthe installation of stone lotus flowers to create a sustainable and aesthetically pleasingenvironment On the other hand, implementing the project of exchanging trash forsucculents not only protects a clean and beautiful green environment but also reducesthe amount of toxic waste caused to the community By encouraging people toparticipate in exchanging recyclable waste for stone lotus to actively promote recyclingbehavior for the community This not only reduces the amount of waste sent to landfills
or pollutes the environment, but also arouses a sense of responsibility to protect theenvironment among participants We believe that protecting the environment is notonly the responsibility of large organizations or governments but the responsibility ofeach individual member of the community

Our group has 3 members: Giang, Nhi and Thoa Each team member hasdifferent roles and responsibilities, supporting and helping each other throughout theprocess to complete the project

First, our group came to the following conclusions: the project's goals are topreserve the environment, foster community connections, deliver messages, andincrease public awareness of waste recycling It is a non-profit project in particular Inaddition, the primary methods we employ to increase project awareness are: Creatingrelevant content; and Reaching a wider audience through social media platforms—images and meanings related to environmental themes
3.3 Challenges Faced and Solutions
When working together, my team members respect each other opinions andalways work together to complete the project But occasionally, there will be problemswith communication about ideas, and inconsistent work schedules Ultimately, werealized that everyone is an individual and that disagreements during group projects aretypical Conflicts help us better understand one another and identify each otheradvantages and disadvantages so that we can assign tasks most effectively In addition,
we have time management skills and know how to meet and discuss projects duringdowntime In summary, teamwork challenges are unavoidable; each member mustrespect, listen, and contribute ideas, as well as encourage and support one another tofinish the task well

4.1 Progress Metrics
Project management performance metrics are used to assess theeffectiveness and profitability of a project Our team collected and compared theprocedures in each step of the project with the aims and objectives We summarizedevery task from the start to the finish By monitoring performance metrics, teamleaders will be able to manage projects more effectively Following the first week(October 20–27) and the second week (October 27–November 3), the waste types andquantity of stone lotuses that our group collected are shown in the table below

6 Lessons Learned
The project of exchanging recyclable waste for succulents is a significantturning point to encourage community participation This project has createdmotivation through providing attractive rewards such as lotus stones to motivate the
Trang 20community to recycle, reduce landfill waste and increase environmental awareness Byimplementing the project, we have learned experience about one of the importantfactors to confirm the useful values that the project brings in the future Theachievement is to bring new experiences to everyone and raise people's awarenessabout waste classification, and increase participation in protecting and preventingenvironmental pollution Contribute to building a clean environment Successfullymanaging and recycling scrap effectively and bringing many benefits to theenvironment Create conditions for a healthy development environment without beingpolluted by waste, especially batteries that can pollute water sources and are difficult todecompose, causing unpredictable consequences In addition, there are two areas thatneed improvement: social and environmental In the social field, society plays animportant role in propagating and raising people's awareness in protecting theenvironment to be green, clean and beautiful Improve quality of life through properwaste classification In the field of environment: protecting the environment frompollution, ensuring the quality and living environment of everyone is not affected bywaste The environment contributes to people's lives so much that it is necessary toparticipate in this activity to protect it The importance is to draw lessons for yourselfand bring useful values to society and the environment, contributing to environmentalprotection as well as raising awareness and developing projects in the future.
7 Achievements and Deliverables
The process of implementing the waste for succulents project is a process ofimproving performance and completing final deliverables as well as bringing aboutimportant achievements and milestones This project has brought achievements andachieved goals and benefits such as project completion time, requirements beingfulfilled, project effectiveness, measuring increased participation recycling, werecorded a clear increase in recyclable collections based on weight or volume datacollected before and after the program The deliverable product of the project is to fullyimplement the project implementation process and hand over all the lotus stones to the

8 Group Dynamics and Collaboration
Team motivation and cooperation are two factors that bring success to thisproject, it contributes to the project completion process and brings many commonbenefits to the team Teamwork motivation is understanding, sharing, andsympathizing with problems encountered during the project process Work motivationalso depends on each situation the group encounters, setting a common goal for theproject and completing that goal In addition, the challenge in the group work process
is not being able to agree on a fixed time when working in groups, not being able togive common opinions among members, and not being able to agree on specificdecisions in the content of the group work project Those were some challengesencountered during group work, but they were improved through the confidant actions
