PERIOD 9: REVISION ON TENSES

I Objectives: By the end of the lesson, students are able to grasp and use the simple

present, past , future tenses effectively

- Developing writing skill

II Language content:

- The present simple,

- Present progressive ,

- Future simple

- Past simple

- Near future

III Teaching aids and method: Chalks , extra-board

and read all the addverbs in each tense

I Theory :

1 Indefinite qualifiers:

- a lot of/ lots of + countable nouns/

+ uncountable nouns

(books, houses, water, coffee…)

- a little/ too much + uncountable nouns

(water, coffee, flour, rice, sugar, milk, oil…

- a few + countable nouns (books, houses,

teachers, people, children…)

2 Structure:

- S + be/ look/ keep/ seem + adj

(They keep the school more beautiful)

B Practice:

- T asks sts to do the exercise

and apply them into some exercises effectively
