TOPIC OVERVIEW

Setting the problem

Livestock is a field that has existed for many centuries, providing people with highly nutritious food (meat, milk, eggs, etc.) Some products of the livestock industry are also raw materials for light industry The livestock industry also provides traction and fertilizer for the farming industry Has export value Cultivation combined with animal husbandry creates a sustainable agriculture Pets are wild animals that are tamed, bred, and bred by humans to adapt to life near people Previously, livestock farming was one of the strongly developed sectors of the Vietnamese economy But currently, our country is on the path to economic development thanks to other industries, but the livestock industry is facing many difficulties In addition, the livestock industry in general and the pig industry in particular have suffered many livestock disease epidemics, especially African swine fever, which caused great damage, affecting people and the market In order to restore and enhance the development of the domestic pig farming industry, we need to research and deploy the construction of automated farming models and management monitoring systems to improve productivity and quality meet not only domestic but also international requirements Monitoring not only quickly detects, checks and fixes technological problems, but also collects daily data on surrounding factors to control the condition of pigs in the barn In addition, the Internet network has developed strongly and has wide coverage, along with that, phone networks have also developed new technologies to serve the IoT trend To grasp that trend, the group decided to choose the topic: " Pig farm control and monitor using S7-1200 and Simatic IoT2040" focusing on applications for pig farming

The goal of subject

Seeing the importance and advantages of applying science and technology and automation in animal husbandry, the project will aim to build a system to serve pig farming from feeding to cleaning automatic way to easily operate, monitor, and manage, reduce burden for farmers, save labor costs, thereby being able to develop farm scale with the following specific goals:

- Construction and execution of a pig farm model

- PLC programming to control the system

- SCADA programming to control and monitor the system

- Simatic IoT2000 application to transmit control data and monitor system operations

- Through the topic of practical application for pig farms.

Research subjects

- Systems in the automatic pig farm model: Feeding system, drinking water supply system, pig barn shower and spray system, cooling system, lighting system, heating system, wastewater treatment system

- Executive devices in each system

- Simatic IoT2040 device from Siemens

- Node-RED software supports programming for sending data to the server and building monitoring screens
