Life energy—the energy that surges through you and animates your life—radiates from a balanced core Throughout history different cultures and religions have used different words to describe this energy words such as

Qi, matrix, morphic resonance, quantum energy fields, and many other names To start the process of allowing more happiness into your life you must become consciously aware that this life energy field is directly

related to your experience of happiness The

development of this awareness is one of the most powerful steps you can take to change your life

Think about it for a moment—if you are experiencing life in a negative energy and feel run down all the time, or are hating your self, work, or relationship what is that doing for you and the possibility of happiness? It’s clear that it doesn’t help you to experience

more This rundown experience occurs when

you are unbalanced, blocked, distracted, ruminating about the past, or dreading the

future Then, there is simply no way that you can feel balanced, joyful, and happy.

When your life energy is balanced, you experience peace, contentment, and a youthful vibrancy in life Balancing your life energy must become as much a part of your day as eating and sleeping for you to experience happiness

Happiness is not found either at the end of some chase or in dealing with the distracting logistical thoughts that surge through us every day How could it be when you have 50,000 or more thoughts a day? Ask yourself when you “lock onto” a particular thought from any of these 50,000 “what am I getting from focusing on that particular thought.” If you are similar to our clients you have become used to feeling a certain way and so you unconsciously select thoughts that support the way you are used to feeling

rather than the way that you want to feel

This knowledge is very important to starting

to shift your present experience—take the time to question the “why” of locking onto disempowering thoughts—you may be surprised to find out that one of their effects

is to keep you right where you are used to being

Happiness does not come from the conscious mind that believes “if I achieve (or get) this, that, or some other thing, then I’ll be happy.” Instead, the feeling comes from being able to see the happiness that has been there all along—by using consciousness and awareness to allow it to flow through you Later in this book are some ways to harmonize yourself so that your energy fields are balanced and you experience a greater sense of happiness

From this place of being centered you'll create a vision of a balanced and harmonious

energy field that embraces you in all aspects

of your life When you have this experience

of life you greatly increase your ability to connect with the positive energy in yourself and with others This connection to positive energy affects every aspect of your life, from your health and emotional state to your career and your relationships

All around us, every minute of every day, energy fields bombard you This energy field surrounds our bodies influencing our health, thoughts, and happiness In the midst of this energy our bodies are also radiating outward our internal energy This energy is based on our physical, spiritual, and emotional states

in each moment

These two energy fields are combining in an ever-changing flux of positive and negative emotions, positive and negative choices, into the final creation of energy “vibe” that represents who you are and how you are in

this world.

This energy is affecting you on the cellular level and influences your life to a level you have never imagined This influence is so strong that our cellular DNA can actually be changed! How powerful is it? Identical twins that start out with the same DNA at birth can

be vastly different as they age with the energy that they have created and been exposed to playing an important part in their lives Now, science is catching up by using

the field of epigenetics to examine how these life-style changes affect you daily.

When you are experiencing chronic unhappiness you are out of balance Your energy vibe has shifted This is represented

in your thoughts, physical being, and spiritual self You have been on a journey But with all the static in the world you can get lost and lose your way This is why you feel unhappy It’s a warning, a beacon, put in place to let you know that you need to shift You need to do something different in your life to get rebalanced, refocused, and in tune with your energy frequency This is the

compass on your life journey.

You are not meant to exist in the survival state of being You are meant to really thrive

—to do so you must move to a higher level of energy! Embrace a shift to the frequency of a higher energy in your health, relationships, finances, and life! This energetic shift connects you with the vibrations of

happiness and love You aren’t meant to exist in a sub-optimal state.

You have to be careful of the accumulation of

negative energy These energy frequencies

are all around us and the accumulated effects are very subtle—building up slowly

over years If you don’t pay attention, you

will eventually exist in the lower energy states of depression or a low level of life energy

To get to this moment, on this day, you have been taking part in a journey that is presenting your life’s lessons and

experiences Are you enjoying the process

or are you waiting to get “there” before you allow happiness into your life?

As you experience life situations, you use your rational mind to internally evaluate those situations with your personal filters, beliefs, and perspectives, which are based on

your experience You apply your filters to match your preconceived ideas If these

perspectives allow happiness to flow through you, you experience happiness in many

different situations If not, you miss out But

there is much more than that

You are an integrated holistic being Besides addressing all the rational thoughts that you have, you must learn to care for your emotional and spiritual sides too Here, is where you need to become energetically

Energy Secret ~The most difficult concept of

experiencing happiness is learning there is no

“there” needed to experience happiness.

Because your upbringing places a limit on your exposure to the world, there is always

more in life than you ever experience—this is

true for all of us Being born into a particular

system (this system may be your family, your education, your village, your religion, your political affiliation, your geographic location, or one of hundreds of other systems) automatically excludes certain experiences from your life, unless you go and

find them To experience more in your life,

you must learn to step outside of your original system, even occasionally, to expand

your knowledge and comfort zone Until you

do, you exist within the predefined limitations of each particular system, rather

than tapping into the abundance that exists

When a system serves and aligns with you,

there is no conflict When it does not, conflict exists within you.

Happiness Vibe: Am I willing to expand my

comfort zone to increase my energy level and embrace happiness?

Energy Secret ~There is no external manifestation of anything that makes you more or less important, better or worse, happy or sad These judgments reside in your internal interpretation of life events And your judgments are affected by your energy level With a low or depressed energy state you will rarely experience happiness When you embrace vitality, balance, and increase your energy, you are making the experience of happiness much more available to you Do you understand your part in this? Increasing your energy and becoming balanced are

tools within your control!

Emotions are not something that you “get,”

they are something you experience You do not get love; you are love You do not “get” happy; you experience happiness You allow

yourself to experience happiness, joy, and

love because you choose to tune into the experience of them They are always

available for you because they do not exist

“out there.”

Energy Secret ~You experience all emotions

energetically rather than "getting” them,

happiness included.

Think about the different ways you tune into

what you will allow into your awareness

Have you ever bought a car and the very day you get it as you drive down the road you suddenly notice the same car everywhere?

There are not suddenly more of these cars

You are tuned into seeing that model

because of your heightened awareness This

is how experiencing happiness works; you see more of what you focus on What you focus on has to do with the energy that you are feeling in that moment If your energy is low and sub-optimal, your experience of life

is going to be low and sub-optimal.

The shift is not onto some external “thing” that will “make” you happy The shift is in loving yourself, honoring yourself, and increasing your energy so that you are looking at the world through a higher state of

being This higher state of being allows the experience of happiness to flow more easily into your life You expand happiness in your life by shifting your awareness and balancing your energy flow.

Seven energy shifts for happiness:

1 No matter how much you chase happiness, without the right energy you will never “find” it Happiness is not a thing that you externally attain

by chasing it Happiness is an energetic state you cultivate, grow,

and expand It is always available to

you.

2 When you are energetically balanced happiness is always (and only) available in this moment

3 You can try and chase all you want but

no external achievement magically produces happiness

4 Happiness, abundance, and love exist only now If you put off the experience until you get “there” you will never get

“there.” Happiness is not found at some distant destination

5 Happiness and abundance have nothing to do with material or external manifestations of wealth

6 Happiness and abundance have everything to do with your energy,

your beliefs, and your perspective.

7 Happiness, abundance, and love are internal states of mind that appear when you believe they are available and you have balanced your energy to

be available to the experience.

Being “In the zone” or the “in flow” experience

is the result of a balanced energy field.

When you fully actualize your life, a

satisfaction warms your inner core This is

known in positive psychology as a gratifying

experience Gratifying experiences embrace

your holistic being and indicate you are energetically balanced

Some indications you are in this zone are

feeling in harmony while engaged in a task

You feel challenged, and these challenges involve focus, working on clear goals, and

using skills you enjoy You feel like you have

a sense of control and your sense of self

vanishes as time seems to stop When you

cultivate these types of experiences, rather than material items or symbols, you contribute greatly to your happiness This is the result of a balanced energy state Think about it—doesn’t having clear goals indicate that you are feeling balanced? Doesn’t being

so involved that time seems to stop mean that you are engaging your holistic being—doesn’t that indicate that your energy is balanced?

When you don’t embrace life in the above manner, you look for different ways to fill

yourself For some, it is immersion in work,

others use maladjusted coping behaviors, and some others will try to relieve this pain through relationships, believing other people

can fill emotional holes that exist within us

You think their love can heal our pain and mistakenly believe if they love us enough

that you will be okay This fuels a

never-ending quest to meet our needs through

a dramatically improved energy flow

Sometimes a relationship, or the search for a relationship, serves the purpose of

distracting you from your emotional “dams”

This distraction is powerful—you know how

unhappy you feel Doesn’t clearing the

resistance make a better foundation for a love and happiness rather than one based upon a subconscious psychological drive from emotional holes in you?

Learn to Bring Your Energy into the Now!

When you really embrace the idea that you

live only in the Now! And there is always, and only, the Now! You open immediately to the

possibility of the experience of happiness Past and future are projections of the mind

If you view your future with hope, you are excited If you view your future with despair, and you worry, but neither state exists

except in the mind Yes, I know, I can hear

you argue: “If I do not save for my

retirement, I’ll be destitute If I don’t do this,

that will happen”—but you can only take actions in the Now! You can only make adjustments and change in the Now!

Have you ever considered how many people wait for “there” to arrive and it never does?

So much of life is spent pursuing happiness

rather than experiencing happiness How

many people played by societies rules, rules they did not pick, and after 5, 10, or 20 years

of effort find themselves in an entirely new situation such as divorce, unemployment, or death? Or, how many get a phone call that changes their life, perhaps finding a loved one is ill?

Happiness Vibe: What is your “there?” What

are you waiting for? What will it take before you will allow yourself to engage and fully enjoy life? Do you think it’s a new relationship, job, money or something else? Live in the Now! The desire for experiences like loving relationships, financial abundance,

and good health is common The opportunity

to develop them exists only Now! Believe in the possibility of experiencing happiness in this moment, and see where that perspective takes you!

Happiness Vibe: Ask yourself if you believe in the premise of FLASH™- the False Lesson you Always Should be Happy?

If so, then you will spend your life chasing a feeling that comes naturally and like all

emotions is experienced with ebbs and flows

You don’t have to be anything, or do

anything, to experience everything Each

emotion and each moment presents all

opportunities for all experiences Existing

under the belief you should always be happy

or always should be anything, lays the groundwork for chronic dissatisfaction

Experiencing happiness means you must challenge some beliefs you have.

It is challenging to awaken and see the ideas, perspectives, and beliefs you internalized as truth merely represent the beliefs of one system, and that many other belief systems

exist These are all true and they are all

wrong based upon each person’s

perspective Examining and understanding

the system you are born into helps to discover what beliefs you were exposed to at

an early age.
