Trang 3Update 040112
Vol 1 of “Creative Gratitudes” is also a sort of sampler of future volumes of this series
While I used a variety of effects from Photoshop in this edition, it is planned that future editions will tend to focus on one or two styles of affect per volume
Impressionistic renderings will mark the style of Vol 2, while embossing in various manners, is planned for use in Vol 2
If you have a favorite effect, please let me know at yoga dot adan at gmail dot com

Thank you much,
“Creative Gratitudes” as a series, is unique among my various works
Most of my other series, “A Month of Mornings,” “Everyday Gratitudes,” and “Everyday Inspirations” are specifically focussed on what we encounter in the every day
Even the images are of the “every day.”
Typically, that means events and images and verse that are not necessarily dramatic, or overly exciting Some might even say boring
Trang 4But they are of the every day What it takes and means for most of us to live from yesterday through today to tomorrow And many times, dramatic things do happen, but more so inside When we contemplate and allow the mystery of even being alive to speak to us.
This series, “Creative Gratitudes,” allows me some leeway into exploration
Taking an image from the set from which I chose an image for one of my every day photopoem books, one that appeals to me, I literally “play” with it I experiment with filters, adjustments, anything at all that seems to propel the image to the point where it inspires me to write a poem for it
Plus, it’s fun for me to do ;-)
And like the image work I present in “Photography Plus, a Beginners View,” these images and creative work are from a myself as a layman, not a professional Which means, these are creative projects that most anyone can do and feel good about
I hope you enjoy these as well, and consider leaving a review and telling your friends
Thanks so much,
Sincerely,
adan

Trang 23New Work in Progress
Trang 24The idea for this series developed organically, naturally, from my previous series of every day writings and image-poems Thus, for this series, I would like to dedicate this work, to all those who struggle, and enjoy, the daily dance with “process.”
I know I often forget that, set-backs and accomplishments, both, are but spots along our daily roads, the process of our living
So to everyone everywhere who celebrates and accepts their awareness of
“being in process” I dedicate this work to you
