Trang 4Overview
Forge personal dreams and desires into realities using the powerful visualization technique known as Creative Visualization This tutorial will demonstrate how to handle real situations better utilizing constructed simulations of real situations as a means of preparation and self- improvement
At the end of this tutorial one will be able to:
• Create a visual simulation environment
• Explore emotional and mental dimensions using visual intention
• Project aspects of self onto simulated scenarios
• Recognize and overcome self-imposed obstacles
Trang 6Introduction
The Creative Visualization method is an intent-based manifestation method for the creation of desirable realities This tutorial will cover theoretical information and practical information The theoretical information is quite useful in success with the practice
The act of visualization is a powerful technique, "seeing" and "perception" both create a magnetic and energetic attraction This process binds how the realities around a person are created You see in the mind and create a force as effective
as regular sight The one difference is that mind-sight can be powered using consciousness Your unconscious mind is just as impressionable to what you see
as to what you see with your eyes Until harvested and regulated most perception is ruled in the mind with automated processes and this relates back to the person and how she or he lives and engages with their world
Imagination has a direct link to "inner knowing", intuition, and visualization, as well as other elements that can be utilized To achieve results with visualization
Trang 7consistent practice is required the same visualization for 5 minutes, for 3 weeks each evening is often enough to achieve to turn the visualization into a manifestation
What can I expect to achieve?
speaking
different situations
into Your Present Life: If you can imagine it - It can be real Here and Now
The Act of Imagination is Creative in Nature: To imagine something is to start a process of creating that imagined thing into a real thing
The source of all actualization is Vision: "'Creative Imagination' is not something reserved for the poets, the philosophers, the inventors It enters into our every act For imagination sets the goal 'picture' which our automatic
Trang 8mechanism works on We act, or fail to act, not because of 'will,' as so commonly believed, but because of imagination"
Maxwell Maltz, M.D., Psycho-Cybernetics (1960)
The image or vision contains in itself ultimate potential for actualization This is due to the fact that images contain results that transcend other elements (such as emotional or sub-conscious tie-ins) It is important to understand that how we see ourselves is how we often are Creative Visualization is the ultimate power
to build reality as we see fit
Trang 9How it Works
Imagination is often undermined and related to something unreal However looking outside of the box we can conclude that imagination is a dimension of consciousness People can experience particular real physical, mental and emotional sensations based on imagined thoughts It is possible to observe, for example, how at a movie theatre the audience can mimic the emotions through engagement in the film being shown
To grasp visualization better in terms of Astral Projection consider that in an astral projection the environment or 'scope' is much larger than the physical Scholars of philosophy, especially of Plato's ideas often label this massive world
of infinite astral potential as "Being" However what we perceive now in our world is the "Essence" To understand this idea propose that a thing that is (being) does not necessitate for that same thing to have essence For example, a Skyscraper was in Leonardo Da Vinci's mind but it did not exist 'in essence' in that historical period it was just an element of imagination Later it came to exist This concept alone is a core foundation of the creative visualization method
Trang 10The idea of 'I am a successful business person' makes one into that person in one frame of mind But one might have the idea of 'I am a bad cook' and this also makes that person into that thought in that mindframe There are thousands
of such mindframes existing based on thoughts However the one focused on most gains most energy and what gains most energy astrally (in imagination) becomes physical (in essence)
Thoughts exist first in the higher levels of consciousness (from a hierarchical understanding) and then propagate down as in the lower levels of Essence (physical reality)
If I imagine myself in an ideal state it will happen in a second in one mind state, but for it to become true in physical reality it takes much longer than a few seconds There are thousands of versions of 'You', thousands of different mindstates - and thus the process will take forever unless the user of this technique concentrates on making the one ideal or preferred self become true
Trang 11How to Practice
To be successful two things are required First, it is crucial to believe in total that the visualized outcome is possible and will happen, and second, concentration and persistence as well as self-discipline is applied
There is an attraction at theme parks and arcades that that is often set up as a game which requires a person to throw a small plastic ball into an opening from
a distance (sometimes these are moving clowns or a hole in the wall) If the ball lands into the hole a certain number of times without missing the game is won Intuitive visualization can be applied to all practical exercises, but for now let's select this as a sample simulation Let's look at the workings of the process, there is a goal, an actor and the action The subconscious mind knows how to accomplish each action with perfection, all one has to do is to tell the conscious mind with a visual what the goal is Oftentimes I have used this method such spinning an iPod wheel without conscious focus but having a conscious image
of the song I wanted it to land on this results in quite an unexpected success There is no problem duplicating it for other actions too, such as golf, or even being in a particular desired situation or emotional state
Trang 12Visualization consists of believing and imagining, not thinking Components such as emotion and doubt are excluded from the process what is important is the image itself Concentration and focus on the visual itself are important The method requires being alert and present in the present moment Concentrate on the action, then visualize the desired outcome without thinking, and then do the action With practice the results will begin to be more and more effective
When we visualize we are effectively pre-constructing the event which will take place But this is not done in the brain we do not think about it The event just needs to be pre-constructed as though one is actually doing it (i.e seeing it happen in front of you)
Use supporting belief for the visualization, not belief that goes against the image Opposing belief is the limiting factor in all visualization exercises If one believes he or she cannot do something it might not be as effective to visualize doing it To visualize shooting a target with a bow for example, and then think
"It is too far, I will never be able to hit it" is counterproductive However by suspending thought in the moment after visualization and just taking action it is possible to achieve anything that can be visualized
Trang 13Practice Scenarios
Although the following scenarios are here to help in particular instances, the Creative Visualization method is as complex as the power of Imagination and can be used for anything
These scenarios will demonstrate sample methods to implement this technique
Scenario: Public Speaking
Mike is a 14 year old high school student who avoids oral presentations at school He takes sick days to delay the oral assessments and when finally forced
to complete them receives a low score During the presentation he reads from a sheet which gives him the security of not having to look up at the audience, he feels nervous and talks fast to complete the speech as quickly as possible, and
he mispronounces many words by going too fast Mike's goal with Creative Visualization is to improve his public speaking Two weeks before his next oral assessment he begins using the technique He closes his eyes every evening and imagines himself presenting his speech
Trang 14The visualization contains as many elements as possible, from entering the classroom to concluding the speech The entire visualization is not less than 10 minutes in time As much detail as possible is used to simulate all of the elements in the imagination, the class, the teacher and other variables During the process Mike sees himself performing the speech in his ideal way For this process the ideal method is to change what he currently perceives as negative: his enthusiasm, lack of eye contact, and pace, all of which impede on his final grade He changes this in his visualization by imagining the teacher very pleased with his presentation and thinking of it with high regard this is visualized throughout the entire presentation Other elements such as classmates being impressed with the presentation can also be included
The key is to use detail and depth with the visualization and to give people a reason as to why they should find the presentation excellent Quite frankly this visualization itself is what will end up making Mike's presentation good, the reason is that it forms the initial belief that it is good before he has even started creating it, thus the creation is a pre-guaranteed success
Next he moves on to improving his own self-image based on turning the negative aspects listed above into positives He pictures himself reading the speech out successfully without the need to reference a sheet of paper or notes
Trang 15and views this process as happening easily, effortlessly and enjoyably for him
He pictures his pace as regular because the speech is going well and he can present it at his own comfort level
After a few days of practicing he begins to feel good about the entire idea of performing the speech since he has already done it so well in his mind several times Upon the time of the speech his new Astral Self which has done that speech many times in training before has no problem with the actual speech and
it Mike is able to do it surprisingly easily
Trang 16Problem Solving
Pre-define a goal before starting anything, as in previous example Defining (X) as good before even starting (X) ensures that X will be good Example goals:
In creative visualization we are dealing with a vision that represents an astral construct The vision attracts more energy the longer it is in existence and is focused upon using these consistent creative visualization to make it happen The first procedure in problem solving using this method is to define problems
we wish to solve now rather than having perception that the problem is in the future so we can deal with it when that time comes
Trang 17Example: Lisa wants to receive an A for all of her school subjects She
practices creative visualization each evening imagining her report full of As, she imagines her teachers and her parents pleased with her and she pictures herself doing what she believes is necessary to achieve the result
Example: Benjamin has an upcoming marathon that he wants to complete
successfully He trains in his mind using creative visualization before setting a foot on the track He includes all of the elements in his visualization to make it more detailed and he pictures his ideal outcome: winning
Example: Jo wants her new music album to sell successfully She practices
creative visualization a month prior to the release and pictures doing a lot of interviews, having positive feedback from people and the album scoring high on music charts
True Creative Power
The idea is to always have a vision of the ideal state of yourself in any given scenario Long-term change is made up of smaller building blocks Astral images already exist from childhood that have 20 or more years of energy behind them 'I am a bad writer' or 'I'm good at music but I can't do maths' are
Trang 18two examples of astral images that can exist with a lot of power behind them With the act of conscious creative visualization we are not focusing on any negative images at all, we are just creating new positive images of our ideal states The process might take a while for the change to occur But the aim is not to focus on the change occurring, but to re-assure yourself that the change has happened already For every second you imagine it happening it comes closer into actualization Large blocks to potential might exist from the past, but never allow anyone to tell you that you are just not creative, or do not have it in you Each individual has an innate inner power to be creative and to change their circumstances using that creative power
Trang 19Personal Simulation Temples
This technique will teach you how to make your own training space You can later use this method as a launching ground for all future creative visualizations
We mentioned earlier that conscious visualization builds a lot of energy into the visualized event, if you now use this method it will increase the amount of energy the visualized image receives
Begin by relaxing as you would prior to going to sleep, but do not fall asleep After 10-15 minutes of relaxing and letting your body and mind unwind begin creative visualization picturing an environment that you feel safe, comfortable and happy in
Your visualization can be a beach, a valley in the mountains, or any other space that you feel at home at
Trang 20Imagine the environment with a lot of depth, as though you are actually in that place right now Focusing your senses on the sights, smells, sounds and feelings
of that location will help saturate your consciousness into that place
After 5-10 minutes (take longer if you need) of familiarizing yourself with the environment and making yourself at home picture a button similar to a computer [Save] button which is clicked when saving a document Once you click the button you will save this astral space You may also imagine a security lock that only you can open to enter the space From now on anything you do in the space will be saved when you return there, however you can delete and change the space as you see fit
In your astral space you can build your own ideal version of yourself or add anything else you would like to create in your current reality You can even create addition doorways in your astral space that lead to your current life and future life For your current life you can have a visualization saved as your current home, family and lifestyle However you will visualize these as ideal, not as they are The more time you spend in your astral space the more it will affect your overall reality
Conclusion
