Giáo án được thiết kế theo từng tuần xuyên suốt 1 năm (36 tuần) dành cho sách tiếng Anh Light On lớp 6 là công cụ quan trọng hỗ trợ giáo viên trong quá trình giảng dạy tiếng Anh cho học sinh ở độ tuổi này. I Objectives (learning outcomes):

By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:

a Knowledge:

- Learn present simple (interrogative & short answers).

- Learn intonation in yes/no question.

b Core competence and language skills:

- Ask and answer Yes/No question

- Improve Ss’ communication, critical thinking, analytical skills and other skills

c Personal qualities:

- Build their positive daily routine

II Teaching aids:

- Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, handouts, class CDs, IWB software,

PPT, projector/interactive whiteboard/TV (if any)

- Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks.

III Procedures:

A Warm-up: (5 minutes)

a Objectives: to introduce the new lesson and set the scene for Ss to acquire new

language; to get students' attention at the beginning of the class by means of enjoyable and short activities as well as to engage them in the steps that follow

b Content: Yes- No questions

c Expected outcomes: Ss can review yes-no questions

d Competence: communication, collaboration, analytical thinking skills

e Organization:

- Ask Ss two questions

- Call some Ss to answer the
