In the current era of integration and globalization, English plays an extremely important role in study, work as well as in daily life Realizing that learning English at school is not enough for the current demand for English, more and more English centers have been established to solve this social problem, to help all people in our society have more opportunity to improve their English skills

Understanding the needs of parents and students in the province as well as in many other provinces, Hoang Quan IQ education system always tries to provide courses to cultivate additional knowledge for primary school students, middle school and high school for some core subjects at the school, creating a dynamic and effective environment for both students and teachers, facilitating internships as well as new students graduate but still ensure teaching results

This is the first time I have been worked practically in a lively and attractive educational environment and I feel that I can identify myself with teaching During my internship, I always define a right and scientific attitude to discover and exploit the useful things for myself and for my future work The purpose of this report is to share what I did and learned during my internship period The report focuses primarily on the working environment, my job, and benefits that I got

I have gratefully experienced as an intern at Hoang Quan education system After a month (from December 27th 2021 to January 22nd 2022), I have learned a lot as well as accumulated experience in using English in the office environment, in daily life and in teaching English for children

First and foremost, I want to express my great attitude to Mrs Nguyen Thanh Ha who always gave me the best advises, help me overcome all the difficulties to fulfill this internship report

I would like to sincerely thank the board of directors and all the English teachers at Hoang Quan IQ education system, especially Mr Hoang Van Thong, Mrs Le Thi Huong and Mrs Nguyen Thi Thu Hanh During my internship period, all teachers enthusiastically guided me teaching methods as well as soft skills which is necessary for an English teacher

Hoang Quan IQ provides students with teaching and learning activities, including tutoring in class and tutoring with model one teacher – one student, in which the courses aim at one of the following goals:

- Supplementing knowledge which students have learnt in school, reviewing and consolidating knowledge for students

- Preparing for excellent student contest at all levels: elementary, middle and high school

- Supplementing and improving knowledge for students who are going to participate in the level transfer exam (especially the entrance exam to specialized schools)

- Preparing for high school graduation exam, university admission for students who are going to take the national high school exam

- English only: training for starters, movers, flyers exam under the YLE (Young Learners English Test) certification system, and IELTS exam training

1.2 The informations about English Department

Among the five subjects taught at Hoang Quan IQ education system, English is the subject with a large number of teachers and students, which is extremely understandable, due to the necessity of English in learning and opportunities for the future, so parents always create conditions for their children to improve their English knowledge after school

Currently, Hoang Quan IQ has about 50 English teachers, many of which have many years of experience in teaching English, and the teachers have had many achievements such as: get high scores in semester exam, excellent student exam of province level, level transfer exam and university entrance exam

After applying to Hoang Quan IQ, all teachers will be checked for input quality, and after being recruited, teachers are trained in expertise and teaching methods, soft skills

Regarding teaching materials, in addition to consolidating knowledge at school, teachers are provided with teaching materials compiled by Hoang Quan IQ based on the curriculum framework of the Ministry of Education and Training

PART 2: INTERNSHIP PROCESS IN HOANG QUAN IQ EDUCATION SYSTEM

2.1 Detail information about the internship process

Throughout my four-week internship (from December 27th to January 22nd), I had a chance to work in the position of English Department Since the internship period lasts only four weeks, adjustments must be made very quickly After four weeks of internship, I have had certain experiences in working with the English department, getting used to my job as an English teacher

The following are the jobs that I learn about and undertake during my internship weeks

at the company:

- Working with the supervisor in setting up a schedule of activities for the entire internship process

- Learning company history and establishment, the achievements and activities occurring on the daily, basic rules and research about departments, functions

of each department, business lines,

- Assigned to work in English Department at the company

- Get familiar with the office, my duties and responsibilities

Week 2 From January 3rd

to January 9th

- Learn, research about teaching and learning materials used at Hoang Quan IQ

- Study about how to grasp student psychology, motivate and create motivation and excitement for students when learning English

- Access to the steps of conducting a study session

- Start learning about the design of activities that can

be organized in the lesson

Week 3 From January 10th

to January 16th

- Participate in practical lessons of teachers who have experience working at the company

- Participate in the entire company meeting, deploy the plan for 2022, communicate with teachers from other subject groups

2.2.1 Personal experiences acquired

After four weeks of internship at Hoang Quan IQ education system, I have gained for myself many valuable experiences and lessons And I firmly believe that these experiences and lessons will help me a lot in my future work as well as expand relationships and increase opportunities for personal development

Here are some experiences that I have accumulated during my internship:

 I communicated with colleagues and taught students in English, which created

an environment for me to practice speaking more In addition, I also had the opportunity to study teaching materials in English

 Working as an intern teaching English, I have improved my office computer skills, because every day, I need to prepare lectures and presentations for the lesson Due to the requirements of the job, I have learned more and now, I am quite proficient

in the necessary computer tools for my profession

 As a teaching assistant, English teacher, I have been trained in soft skills such as: communication, persuasion, public presentation, emotion management, classroom management, etc., and I feel All of these skills are essential, no matter what your job

2.2.2 Difficulities

In addition to the valuable experiences that I have gained after four weeks of internship

at the company, I realize that I still have some shortcomings, and I am working every day to improve them

Since my major is Business English, my biggest shortcoming is my teaching skills Even if our knowledge is good, but if we do not know how to impart knowledge to others, then we cannot be a good teacher Fortunately, my colleagues have created the best conditions for me to study and have basic understanding of teaching methods

Working with younger students also made it difficult for me when students didn't listen

to me, however, after a few lessons, I learned how to manage the class and carry out the lesson according to my wishes

3.1 Using English in busniess at the company 3.1.1 The current situation of the usage of English

With new methods and requirements of today's education The teacher acts as a guide

to suggest students to stimulate creativity and independent thinking of students Students' activities are main and teachers are secondary, so the teacher's role is to guide students to visualize, acquire knowledge, and apply knowledge into practice

During the course of observing and talking with teachers, I realized that teachers are creative and use a lot of teaching aids with high efficiency Teachers use pictures, real objects, and body language in the process of teaching vocabulary This helps students learn vocabulary quickly and remember it for a long time Teachers use pictures in order for students to guess related lesson content with the ultimate purpose of helping students make associative reasoning and visualize new lesson content They also use
