B The 2018 TECO Green Tech Contest
The TECO Green Tech International Contest was organized by the TECO Technology Foundation yearly to promote the use of green energy in Taiwan and worldwide In 2018, it was held in Taipei, Taiwan on August 22nd The contest attracted many teams from different areas of the world, including those from the United States, China, Singapore, Japan, India, and Russia Judges, who were domestic specialists, evaluated the team's study according to three criteria: creativity, technical content and feasibility, and work completeness The team that won the championship of the 2018 TECO contest came from the Institute of Environmental Engineering, National Sun Yat-sen University with a study on soil and ground-water pollution abatement

TECO Green Tech International Contest
1 Eligibility:
- lnternat_ional college students can register for the contest
- One team consists of three or more members Each team should have advisers or
instructors
- Teams can have members from different schools or faculties; however, each member
cannot belong to more than one team
2 Information Submission: Each team needs to submit the following
documents online
(l) Team Profile: (submitted by June 3rd, 20 I 9)
The team profile should provide brief information on: Name of the project, team members
and advisers/instructors, team members' photocopies of student IDs
(2) Work Description: (submitted by June 30th, 2019)
The description of each team's work consists 'of 6 sections presented in the following
order: Creation Motive, Research Process, Brief of Work, Energy Efficiency, Project
Proposal and Relevant Documents, Proposal of Business Model
3 Other Requirements:
- English is the language in all submitted documents
- The contest will not accept works submitted or commercialized elsewhere Individual
team will take responsibility for the copyright infringement of their submitted works
- Only clear photos of student IDs are accepted
4 Final Contest:
- The final contest consists of three parts: Oral Presentation (nine minutes), Q&A session
(five minutes), and Work Demonstration
