2022 is an important milestone for MB when the bank completes two major upgrading projects of the whole system The highlight is the successful upgrade of T24 system, ready infrastructure to serve 30 million customers
MB aims to reach 28 million customers by 2023 MB will accelerate the implementation of 11 strategic initiatives in the period 2022 – 2026, focusing on digital factory projects, unifying customer identities, and at the same time continue to promote digitization at MB as well as its member companies
3 Internship Activities
During my working time at MB, because I was limited in internship positions, I could only undertake basic work items before disbursement First, I will control the compliance, validity and completeness of the credit file in accordance with the provisions of the law, as well as the regulations of the State Bank and the bank's internal In fact, this part has already been completed by MB's staff, I just watched it to better understand the work and consolidate my knowledge Next, I observed the preparation and
completion of the legal documents of the credit file before disbursement After that, I was assigned to enter customer loan data on the bank's system to manage them The rest of the steps are done by those who are experienced in this work For the post – disbursement tasks such as urging the business unit to recover principal and interest debt, managing and storing credit records, performing import and export procedures and managing assets according to the bank's regulations then only official employees of
MB will be accepted In addition, I was also assigned jobs such as printing documents and assigning payments to the brothers in the office, notarizing legal documents, and accompanying the staff to survey the market when necessary
As mentioned, my internship position is a credit management business support officer, this is a position
in the banking business department It can be seen that the department holds the most important role, directly bringing revenue and profit to the bank Sales departments may vary, but will generally include
Trang 8personnel such as sales and market development specialists, corporate clients, individual clients, and analysts, business support Personal customer room is the place where I practiced, where I directly contact, advise and sell the services that the bank provides to individual customers, small business

It can be seen that the loan balance at the end of the first quarter of 2023 is 47.55% less than the end of the fourth quarter of 2022 48.06% is 0.51% For foreign branches it is less than 0.06% This shows the effective working of individual customer departments at MB The debt collection was effective after disbursement and brought good emulation results from MB's staff
In addition, in the process of working in the personal client department, there are some points that the department has not completed well The first is the issue of record keeping, the data stored on the system
is very well managed However, hand files are not kept neatly and carefully Because of this problem, an employee was complained by the manager for causing trouble, and had to take responsibility to the customer for losing the file Second, some new employees have trouble entering the disbursement amount If you enter a wrong number, you may have to stand out to compensate the company for
damage, which is inevitable Finally, the calculation of the salary that customers need to meet to be able
to borrow The decision to lend includes many factors, and including this factor, if the number is not eligible, it will not be possible to lend to the borrower, which can lead to the loss of a beneficial

In the first issue, the company should provide a larger cabinet and note the items in each compartment to make the employees more conscious of careful record keeping Next is the second problem, because it is
a mistake from the new employees, so this will be a lesson for them to improve their skills and discipline themselves to not make it again In my opinion, they need to read the profile more carefully, observe the information inside, and carefully count each number of the important information The last problem, employees need to learn more practice in the calculation and should not rush to submit the application, but need to review and recalculate
Regarding the working environment, MB is a place with many opportunities for development and long-term commitment This not only helps employees develop more personal capabilities, but also requires themselves to always innovate and cultivate knowledge to adapt to the trend Recently, I noticed that

4 An Assessment Of The Internship
The internship at MB has brought me many skills, knowledge, and experiences As an intern, I don't expect to be able to "jump straight" into an important project During the first part of the internship, my time will mainly focus on how the company operates I will imitate the work of the staff members to really understand what their work is After a day or a few days or asking about all that the business is all about, you will be able to support and participate in some of the company's affairs Expanding my own relationships is also one of the things I can do during this time I have built a relationship between me with my boss and colleagues I believe that quality relationships are essential to building a solid career Last but not least, it is after a period of experience and learning, you have more solid reason to choose and make decisions for your career
Moreover, in fact, what I have learned from the internship is that I have tacitly understood what I have been studying for more than three years During the time of cultivating myself with the knowledge I received from the teachers at the school, I have always wondered about my future work, whether it is similar to what I learned According to my experience, I think that the time I spend studying at school is extremely important Thanks to it, I understand the specialized terms in banking, it helps me grasp and keep up with the work progress of the staff Hard skills and soft skills learned while studying have

In addition, internships are a great way for college students, recent graduates, or anyone considering switching careers to gain valuable work experience In my opinion, the internship gives me an advantage
in the future job market One of the most important internship benefits is that college graduates who already have some work experience in the form of an internship will stand out to potential employers Internship experiences make college graduates more attractive to employers because they often need less training and can take on more responsibilities Besides, you can also get a higher starting salary than those who have not experienced internship or starting a new career Next is that the internship creates conditions for me to form professional skills and techniques, especially labor and creativity skills I will
be able to correct my understanding of theoretical subjects, and all that is still vague and hidden within
me will become clear and precise In addition, the process of applying the knowledge learned in school
to real work helps me realize my strengths and weaknesses and what knowledge and skills need to be equipped to meet the needs of the public later work
In terms of the correlation of knowledge between classroom knowledge and practical activities, I find that there are many similarities The first is about common banking terms such as accumulated interest, annual percentage rate, broker, capital, which are used a lot in the working process All records and documents are recorded in Vietnamese, however, possessing specialized English knowledge makes me more valuable in the eyes of people when assigned to store records of foreign clients In addition, the way I go to work also affects my image When I was in school, I was taught to be properly prepared before going to work, and not to be lazy in dressing up In addition, I learned how to write a cover letter from business communication, so that I made the recruiter know my outstanding key information before the interview took place
In my opinion, Derivatives and Risk management, and Business Research Methods are subjects that help students with an internship For the first subject, although I was not taught the knowledge related to the position I practiced, but the self-discovery activities to build the presentation helped me to have a good ability to absorb Rather, I don't worry about what I don't know, instead I actively learn and I'm not afraid to say what I don't know In the second subject, I was guided enthusiastically to do assignments related to my future job, which helped me have a very thorough study time about my major Not only will it help with my graduation thesis next year, but it will also become useful knowledge for future work Furthurmore, I received a wonderful education from two instructors in these subjects, Mr Hong and Mr Tri The success in teaching lies not only in the way teachers provide knowledge to students, but also in how comfortable students feel when they come to the classroom
After the internship, I learned that if there is a mistake at work, it is better to consult colleagues or department heads, not to be silent to become a bigger problem If this happens, my reputation and people's trust in me will gradually decrease Also, I have a suggestion to improve in terms of School of Economics, Finance, and Accounting that the school should drop some subjects and replace with more practical subjects for banking industry I think it's a good idea to take a course on banking documents and learn how to analyze them to help students in their future careers Second, proposed to remodel the branch where I work A clean working environment, well-lit, air-conditioned, and specialized tools are essential for a business to grow further Only these things will help employees feel comfortable and
