is increasingly focused and developed With the current traffic situation in Vietnam, using motorbikes is very popular
From practical experience, with such a large number of motorbikes, it is necessary to pose the problem of reasonable motorbike parking, while ensuring good security and services while saving space, it is necessary to combine many common factors intelligence, combined with modern science and technology
As a student at Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, it is very important to be aware of how important it is to keep motorbikes in order to accomplish the above problems, and when studying Information System Analysis and Design, my group chose for themselves the topic: "Analysis and design of a parking lot management system for VKU's Student " After a period of studying and constantly researching, the group has obtained a certain result, primarily through this exercise, the group has gained an overview of the knowledge they have learned, which has been gradually applied
to this knowledge

Chapter 1: SYSTEM PLANNING
1 Project Aims and Objectives
A parking lot management system is used for managing the parking spaces for vehicles of VKU's students A parking management system is the one that allows easier management of vehicles in parking lots But since then, the number of vehicle owners has incremented
There are mainly two roles involved in the scene: the visitor, who is driving the vehicle and the parking official, who manages the parking lot
Thus, a parking lot management system makes the job of both the drivers and the parking management officials easier
The project objectives are:
- Noting the License Plate
- To implement AI into the system to identified license plates
- Entry Date and Time of the Vehicle
- Exit Date and Time of the Vehicle
- The system supports a per-day parking fee model
- List of vehicles in Parking Lot
- To eliminate the paper-card in parking lots
- To record every transaction in computerized system so that problem such
as record file missing won’t happen again
- To implement AI into the system to identified license plates
- To produce statistical report
- The system supports a per-day parking fee model
2 Background of Project
VKU student parking system is currently considered one of the modern parking systems in universities affiliated to the University of Danang when using magnetic cards instead of traditional paper However, there is still a problem that the parking lot can use someone else's card to enter the parking lot without the system having an alarm signal Therefore, we decided to design a parking

system that includes a full range of modern features to ensure vehicle safety of VKU students
3 Project Scope
Subject: VKU’s students
Vehicle: Motorcycle, electric motorcycle
Scope: Campus of Viet Nam- Korea University of information and communication technology
In the modern age, a lot students have vehicles Vehicle is now a basic need So, VKU need a parking space where people can park their vehicles safely and easily

Chapter 2: REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS
1 General Description
Product Description
Parking Lot Management System is a computerized system which can helps user (parking management officials) to manage the parking lot daily activity in electronic format It reduces the risk of paper work such as card lost, card damaged and time-consuming It can help user to manage the transaction or record more effectively and time-saving
Problem Statement
- Difficult to view reports: Report need to generate manually without computerizes system Admin need to get the book transaction record and find the information based on the time period It is time consuming to generate one report
- Difficult to search history: Without a computerized system, when wanting
to check parking history, parking manager hard to search for the customer’s history It will cause time-consuming when we check camera
- Card lost/ damaged: When no computerized system is implemented, the card lost because of accident Sometimes customer can't validate that that car is his because of not having vehicle registration document Staff can't check camera because a lot vehicles queue up to exit
- Time consuming to manage parking fees: Paper is needed to add every new record Staff must record information about the entry time and exit time After that, staff have to calculate the total price for that turn
2 System Objectives
- Save cost: After implementing the computerized parking management system, parking management can only hire 1 or 2 staff With the aids of computerized system, we can save the cost of hire employee and also save the paper-cost
- There is no risk for vehicle owner for parking
3 System Requirement

questions to find the exact scope of the system that the interviewer has in mind
We will focus on the following set of requirements while designing the Parking Lot Management System for VKU's Students:
- The parking lot should have multiple entry and exit points
- Customers can collect a daily card from the entry points and can pay the parking fee at the exit points on their way out
- Any student should be able to register the monthly card by their name, student ID, vehicle category as well by license plates
- Each vehicle will have a unique identification number and other details including license plates which will help to physically validate information
- The system should be able to retrieve information like entry date and time, exit date and time of the vehicle
- The system supports a per-day parking fee model For example, customers have to pay 2.000 VND for the first day, 3.000 VND for the second day, and plus 1.000 VND for the next day
- The system should be able to warn whenever ID can not be validated, it means license plates do not match with information in the card The system will be able to read license plates from vehicles and cards

Chapter 3: DIAGRAM
1 Use case Diagram
Here are the main Actors in our system:
- Administrator: Mainly responsible for adding and managing profile,
make statistical report, collect payments, etc
- Guest: Customers can get a daily card and pay for it.
- Patron: Customers have monthly card.
- System: To manage fees, check license plates as well as validating ID.
Here are the top use cases for Parking Lot:
- Add/Detective/Edit profile: To add, manage profile from the system.
Each profile can have its own ID to validate
- Collect Payments: To take guest's money when exit the parking lot.
- Scan card: To save vehicle information when entering, to find out the
total charge when exiting Scan monthly card for Patron, scan daily card for guest
- Validate ID: To check license plates, warn when information don’t match.
- Set clock: record entry, exit date and time to calculator total fees for
guest

2 Class Diagram
Here are the main classes of our Parking Lot System:
- Parking Lot: The central part of the organization for which this software
has been designed It has the attribute ‘Address’ to define its location
- Account of admin: We will have one account in the system for an Admin
- Parking card: This class will include two types of parking cards, monthly
parking cards and daily parking cards Customers will choose a card to register for parking when entering the parking lot
- Parking Rate: This class will keep track of the hourly parking rates It
will specify a dollar amount for each hour For example, for a two-hour parking ticket, this class will define the cost for the first and the second

- Entrance Panel and Exit Panel: Entrance Panel will scan the parking
card, and Exit Panel will facilitate payment of the parking card fee
- Vehicle: Vehicles will be parked in the parking spots Our system will

Chapter 4: CONCLUSION
1 Introduction
This project is carried out with the aim of building a student parking system with alarm devices to keep vehicles safe, convenient and cost-effective for students
In addition, improving the working productivity for system management staff with modern equipment, saving the cost of hiring human resources and other costs incurred like the traditional keeping system such as printing, paper This is a project that should be done in today's modern age

3 Evaluation of Project Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
- Better and more effective security control
- Saving manpower
- Revenue management and business performance
- Using a magnetic card with its own code is difficult to fake The image of the license plate and driver is stored by the system as soon as the driver swipes the card in Therefore, the security is high
- Monthly card can be generated by using the system
- Search features are included in several modules to ease user so that they can filter the data easily
- Process is faster, avoid the long queue at the gate every day
Weaknesses
- Smart parking lots cannot be used for bicycles and e-bikes because they
do not have license plates The number of students using bicycles and electric bicycles is also very large, so we use paper cards
- E-wallet payment has not been integrated yet
