(In terms of academic and theoretical aspects, new arguments derived from research results and surveys
of the dissertation)
1 In terms of academic and theoretical aspects: Based on the identification of characteristics of fictional
and non-fictional prose genres, the dissertation has provided orientations to clarify the contributions of
the Tu Luc Van Doan literary group in the modernization process of Vietnamese literature during the
period 1932-1945
2 Application of genre theory to elucidate the contributions of Tu Luc Van Doan prose in specific
genres such as novels, short stories, narrative characters, lyrical, skits, etc While clarifying the
contributions of Tu Luc Van Doan in the modernization of national literature, the author always places
the Tu Luc Van Doan prose in the context of literature during the period 1932-1945 to understand and
evaluate the aspects and dimensions in which Tu Luc Van Doan has achieved and contributed to the
acceleration and strengthening of the modernization process of national literature during the period
1932-1945
3 The dissertation is developed to clarify the characteristics of the Tu Luc Van Doan prose genre, which
the author believes to be highly effective This contributes to the improvement of teaching literary
genres with higher effectiveness
