Adjectives and comparatives

2 Lesson objectives:

By the end of this lesson, Ss will be able to:

- use adjectives to describe animals

- make correct comparative forms of adjectives

- use comparative adjectives to compare animals

- Audio (1-13, 1-14, 1-15)

- Ppt slides

- Handouts

- Greet Ss - T says “Good morning class Now sit down, class.”

Warm-up: Listen and guess the

animal! 3’ - Revoke Ss’ knowledge of

common animals

- Introduce the topic

- T asks Ss to look at the pictures of 3 animals in their textbook

- T asks Ss to + listen and guess the animals by writing numbers in the circle

+ shout “Bingo” when all pictures are numbered

=> T checks understanding

- T picks the first S to shout

“Bingo” to answer => T shows the correct answers on the slide
