Lady and Gentlemen welcome to today’s debate, the topic is: Technology improves our life I am on the affirmative team, definitely agree with Technology will help us improve our life, especially in Manufacturing, technology will bring a business to operate more efficiently
To begin with, I will present the first reason is:

The technology improvement in manufacturing is bringing the production of products faster than before Automation seems like an extension of the human hand, it helps to speed up a cycle time and more accuracy in operation There are many cases, such as: Vinfast operates a car assembly factory in nearly full automation to help their business reach higher productivity Based on that, they can deliver more cars to customers
According to Mr Tran Viet Anh, President of the Business Association in 2020 nearly 80% factory in Thu Duc city applies automation in production aiming to increase productivity in the operation

Process determination must come from production engineers They identify redundant processes and failure modes in production operations Based on that, they propose to cut off unnecessary steps and improve a process that is the main core lead to reaching a big value for a whole production line Many factories applied a lean production model to determine a series of waste in their operation like: Awaiting, inventory, overproduction That is a way to enhance the productivity of factories
According to Mr Jason, General Director of ATL Groups in 2021, his company increased total productivity up to 20% when they applied a lean production model

You said that improving processes lead to enhance productivity, but we must remember that when the process is standardized we can not improve anymore
We need to apply technology in collecting data to optimize comprehensive factory operation
Machine need to comply with collecting data system to show a capacity of machine and the operators can identify a status as well as the error of it Then they can plan a maintenance schedule and record an operating history Based on that, we can be proactive in the production plan to avoid machine damage And that is a good point to enhance a company profit thank for non discontinue at producing For example, in a production line running without control in the system, a small break in the machine can be growing over a time and damage the whole system of a production line
According to Mr Michell, Control system director of FTT group, in 2019 there are 80% company applied an Application software support for production to protect and enhance company profit

The marketing strategy is a key to the company’s survival nowadays It brings a positive picture to the company, enhances the value of products Every business activity must build a marketing strategy aimed at customers and introduce the products Based on that, the market is expanded, a chance for sales improves then the profit of the company is enhanced For example, Samsung is a master of marketing strategy when they invite Coach Park Hang Seo as a brand ambassador aims to expand marketing in VN
From an article in Marketing Magazine in 2019 by Mr Core, more than 85% of companies admit that they paid a huge of money for marketing because that is the way they can approach customers

I can see what you mean, I also agree marketing is necessary for business activity, however, I believe that overstatement in marketing and advertisement led to customer’s experience not matching with a real product isn’t morality approach Instead of that, the upgrade in technology in production and execution
at manufacturing will bring stability to the company in a long term
