UNIT 6: COMMUNITY LIFE Lesson 1.1 – Vocab & Listening

- Practice listening for specific information

- Practice functional English (Thanking someone politely).

1.2 Competences

+ General competences: improve Ss’ communication, collaboration, analytical and

critical thinking skills

+ Linguistic competences: can use the words relative to the changes in the

community; listening for specific information

projector or interactive, PowerPoint slides

3 Procedures

A Warm up: 5 minutes

a Objectives: to raise the Ss’ awareness of the topic and get them ready for the lesson
