LESSON PLAN

Aims: By the end of the class, Ss will be able to:

- (Knowledge) Gain some knowledge the advantages and disadvantages of zoos

- (Language) Gain some new vocabulary items related to animals

- (Skill) Ask someone for opinions and show agreement and disagreement

-Talk about the advantages and disadvantages of the new kind of zoo

Assumed knowledge: Students have finished the Reading section and they have had

some knowledge of zoos and their characteristics

Teaching aids: textbook, computer, projector, pictures.

Some advantages of zoos:

+In modern zoos, animals are placed in enclosures which are similar to their natural habitats

+ Recreational spot for the whole family

+ Zoos provide the public with educational information, especially children

=> Causing stress and boredom

to the visitors and the keepers
