1 Khái niệm Thì tương lai gần

Thì tương lai gần dùng để diễn tả một dự định cụ thể có tính toán trong tương lai không

xa Tất cả các hành động, sự việc này đều có kế hoạch, căn cứ cụ thể

2 Cách dùng Thì tương lai gần

Thì tương lai gần dùng để diễn tả:

a Dự định, kế hoạch trong tương lai

Eg: I am going to write to her this morning (Tôi định sáng nay sẽ viết thư cho cô ấy.)

b Sự chắc chắn (có căn cứ, dẫn chứng)

Eg: It‟s cloudy It’s going to rain soon (Nhiều mây quá, trời sẽ sớm mưa đấy.)

3 Cấu trúc Thì tương lai gần

(+) Khẳng định

I + am + going to + Vinf Eg: I am going to visit Hue this summer

(Hè này tôi sẽ đến thăm Huế.) You/ We/ They + are + going to + Vinf Eg: We are going to go to Paris next month

(Chúng tôi sẽ đi tới Paris vào tháng tới.) She/He/ It + is + going to + Vinf Eg: She is going to buy a new car next

week

(Cô ấy sẽ mua một chiếc xe mới vào tuần tới.)

(-) Phủ định

I + am not („m not) going to + Vinf Eg: I am not going to visit Hue this

summer

(Hè này tôi sẽ không đến thăm Huế.) You/ We/ They + are not (aren‟t ) +

going to + Vinf

Eg: We aren’t going to go to Paris next

month

(Chúng tôi sẽ không đi tới Paris vào tháng tới.)

She/He/ It + is not (isn‟t) + going to +

Vinf

Eg: She isn’t going to buy a new car next

week

(Cô ấy sẽ không mua một chiếc xe mới vào tuần tới.)

(Từ để hỏi) + am + I + going to + Vinf? Eg: Where am I going to do with this report,

sir?

(Tôi sẽ làm gì với cái báo vậy sếp?) (Từ để hỏi) + are + you/ we/ they +

going to + Vinf?

Eg: Where are they going to go tomorrow?

(Ngày mai họ định đi đâu vậy?) (Từ để hỏi) + is + he/ she/ it + going to

+ Vinf?

Eg: Is he going to stay at his grandparents‟

house tonight?

(Cậu ấy sẽ ở lại nhà ông bà cậu ấy tối nay phải không?)

4 Cách thêm “-ing” vào động từ Thì tương lai gần

Động từ tận cùng là “e” Bỏ “e” thêm “-ing” Love – loving (yêu)

Hate – hating (ghét) Động từ tận cùng là “ee” Thêm “-ing” như

thường

See – seeing (nhìn)

Động từ tận cùng là phụ âm (trừ

h, w, y, x) và đằng trước là một

nguyên âm

Gấp đôi phụ âm và thêm

“-ing”

Stop – stopping (dừng) Cut – cutting (cắt)

Một số động từ đặc biệt cần học thuộc:

Động từ nguyên thể Động từ đuôi “-ing”

Panic (làm hoảng sợ) panicking

5 Dấu hiệu nhận biết Thì tương lai gần

- Các bằng chứng, căn cứ ở hiện tại

Eg: It’s cloudy It‟s going to rain soon (Nhiều mây quá, trời sẽ sớm mưa đấy.)

- Các trạng từ chỉ thời gian trong tương lai

 In + thời gian

 Tomorrow

 Next day/ week/ month/ year …

Eg: Tomorrow I am going to visit my parents in New York I have just bought the

ticket (Ngày mai tôi sẽ đi thăm bố mẹ tôi ở New York Tôi vừa mới mua vé rồi.)
