General information on cycl c A WGs

AWGs are commonly u ed as WDM tran mis ion s stems in order to multiplex or demultiplex

a large n mb r of o tical c an els whic al have a diff erent wavelen th Sin le bidirectional

tran mis ion were introd ced to in re se s stem ca acity without ad itional o tical f ibre A

c cl c AWG is very at ractive for the o tical demultiplexer an multiplexer (OD/OM) in sin le

bidirectional tran mis ion s stems as s own in Fig re B.1
