1) Les décisions ou accords officiels de la CEI en ce qui concerne les questions techniques, préparés par des Comités d'Etudes

ó sont représentés tous les Comités nationaux s'intéressant à ces questions, expriment dans Ia plus grande mesure possible

un accord international sur les sujets examinés

2) Ces décisions constituent des recommandations internationales et sont agréées comme telles par les Comités nationaux

3) Dans le but d'encourager l'unification internationale, la CEI exprime le voeu que tous les Comités nationaux adoptent

PRÉFACE

Le présent fascicule fait partie de la Publication 50 de la CEI: Vocabulaire Electrotechnique International (V.E.I.), dont

i1 constitue le chapitre 691: Tarification de l'électricité

Etabli par les soins du Comité national allemand, un premier projet et les observations reçues furent discutés à

Baden-Baden en mai 1966 par un Sous-Comité d'Experts A la suite de cette réunion, le Comité allemand, continuant à assurer le

Secrétariat de ce chapitre, établit un deuxième projet qui fut soumis en novembre 1966 à l'approbation de tous les Comités

nationaux De très nombreuses observations furent reçues Celles-ci furent examinées par le Sous-Comité d'Experts lors d'une

réunion tenue à Londres en mars 1968 Tenant compte des observations reçues sur le deuxième projet, le Secrétariat allemand

prépara un troisième projet sur lequel les Comités nationaux furent priés de se prononcer en aỏt 1968 Comme des

obser-vations importantes ne furent pas reçues, un projet basé sur le troisième projet fut soumis aux Comités nationaux en juillet

1969 pour approbation suivant la Règle des Six Mois De nombreuses observations furent reçues Celles-ci furent discutées

Paris en juin 1970 par le Sous-Comité d'Experts Les modifications adoptées lors de cette réunion ont été incorporées

FOREWORD1) The formal decisions or agreements of the IEC on technical matters, prepared by Technical Committees on which all the

National Committees having a special interest therein are represented, express, as nearly as possible, an international

consensus of opinion on the subjects dealt with

2) They have the form of recommendations for international use and they are accepted by the National Committees in that

3) In order to promote international unification, the IEC expresses the wish that all National Committees should adopt

PREFACEThis booklet is a part of IEC Publication 50, International Electrotechnical Vocabulary (I.E.V.), and constitutes its

Chapter 691: Tariffs for electricity

A first draft, which was drawn up by the German National Committee, and the comments received thereon were discussed

in Baden-Baden in May 1966 by an Experts' Sub-Committee As a result of this meeting, the German Committee, as Secretariat

for this chapter, drew up a second draft which was circulated in November 1966 for approval to all National Committees

A very large number of comments were received These were considered by the Experts' Sub-Committee at a meeting held

in London in March 1968 Taking into account the comments received on the second draft, the German Secretariat prepared

a third draft which was submitted to the National Committees in August 1968 As no important comments were received

thereon, a draft based on the third draft was submitted to the National Committees in July 1969 for approval under the

Six Months' Rule Numerous comments were received which were discussed in Paris in June 1970 by the Experts'

Sub-Com-mittee The amendments which were agreed upon at this meeting have been incorporated in the publication

Experience has shown that differences exist in structure and field of application between the tariffs of individual countries

The terms given in this publication can, therefore, only express the fundamental and generally acceptable meaning as far as

it is important for international understanding The different situations in individual countries have not therefore been specified

It is possible that tariffs may exist which combine more than one of the fundamental concepts outlined In this publication,

such combinations have not been specified In order to facilitate international understanding, terms have nevertheless been

included although they may not be in use in all countries
