For the purposes of this p rt of ISO3 3 , the

with ISO3 1 :19 7, clauses 3 an 4 respectiv ely

5 Rim profi es

5.1 Existing rim s

Profi es of existing rims shal be as g iv en in

Annex A

The flang e wid ths includ e edg e ra ius The portion

lower than the hig hest point of the flang e

5.2 Additional rim s

As far as pos ible, existing rims ( se 5.1) should be

used for the metric series of ty res; only if a solutely

neces ary should new profies be consid ered

in5.2.1 and the recommend tion in5.2.2 a ply

5.2.1 Requirement s

The new rim width cod e shal be chosen f om the

folowing rang e:

2.5 ; 3.25; 4.0 ; 5.0 ; 6.5 ; 8.0 ; 10.0

Any rim profie shal be ind ependent fom the rim

diameter, i.e no chang e of profie is related to the

diameter

The rim shal hav e a 5° ta ered bea seat
