1 Scope

This p rt of ISO6 5 lay s down the desig nation,

dimensions, and loa rating s for an

inch-code-desig nated series of ty res for motor y cles,

fit ed on rims with a nominal diameter

cor esponding to the codes4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and1

ISO6 5 -2 deals with the requirements for rims

NOT 1 The p ralel International Stan ards in the metric

series are ISO5 5 -1[4],ISO5 5 -2[5] an ISO5 5 -3[6]

sidewal and shal include the folowing marking s,

to be shown close to each other:

6 Method ofm easur m ent oftyr

Before measuring , ty res shal be mou ted on the

measuring rim, inflated to the recommended

pres ure, and alowed to stand for a minimum

of24h at normal ro m temperature, after which the

inflation pres ure shal be rea justed to the orig inal

v alue
