Unit 13: HOBBIES Period 3: Listening
1 Class description: Number of students: 33 students (Ss), 15 boys and 18 girls.
Grade: 11th
Level: Intermediate.
2 Time: 45 minutes
3 Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:
+ decide on true or false statements
+ gap-fill
4 Assumed knowledge: Students have already known some words related to the topic
5 Anticipated problems: The tape/recorder may not work, so T should be ready to read the
tapescript for Ss
6 Teaching aids: Textbook, cassette tapes, handouts

18’ 1 Warm
up
- Aims:
Motivate students (Ss) + remind Ss some words related to the topic
- Technique:
- T greets Ss and introduces the activity
- T divides class into 4 groups
- T delievers 2 A4 papers for each group
- T announces the rule of the game
