improving the quality of comprehensive education, focusing on ideological education, traditions, ethics, lifestyle, foreign languages, informatics, practical competence and
skills, and applying knowledge into practice; developing the creativity, self - study, and encouraging lifelong learning” In order to achieve its goals, General Education must also
fundamentally and comprehensively innovate in all aspects, first of all, the General Education Program From the school year 2022 - 2023, the General Education Program
2018 begins to be implemented at the high school level The most basic new feature of the General Education Program 2018 is to focus on developing the quality and capacity of students and being concretized by the requirements to be met in each subject and grade
level In which, experiential activities and career orientation are compulsory educational activities for high school students; are an educational activity “designed and guided by an
educator - oriented teacher, giving students opportunities to get to practical approach,
express positive emotions, exploit the previous experiences and to combine the
knowledge, skills of school subjects in order to perform assigned tasks or solve real -
world problems of school, family and society appropriated to age; as a result, students
would learn to transform the accomplished experience into new knowledge, new understanding, new skills, contribute to the promotion of creative potential and ability to adapt to future life, environment and career"
Experiential and career - oriented activities contribute to the formation and development of key qualities and general, specific competencies for students; the content
of activities is built on students' relationships with themselves, society, nature, and with their profession
Compared with previous educational extracurricular activities, the experiential and career-oriented activities in the General Education Program 2018 have many differences
in objectives, content, methods, and forms of organization, assessment, and the use of the results of experiential and career - oriented activities These differences present both opportunities and challenges for teachers, students, administrators, and other educational forces: It is an opportunity when teachers, students, administrators, and other forces other educators have a chance to experience a new model of educational activities; It is a challenge when teachers, students, administrators, and other educational forces lack the knowledge, skills, and experience to organize and manage this educational activity

2018 General Education Program Therefore, when implementing the 2018 General Education Program in grade 10 including the Program of Experience and Career Activities, Hanoi high schools have many advantages but also face many challenges The main difficulty is still the organization, implementation, and management of this educational activity in an optimal way, meeting the goals of developing students' quality and competence Consequently, managing and organizing experiential and career - oriented activities in the direction of developing students' quality and capacity is an urgent requirement for high schools in the current context
For this reason, the topic "Management of organising experiential and
career-oriented activities in the direction of enhancing students’ quality and competence at high schools in Hanoi city" is choosen to be done for this doctoral thesis
2 Research purpose
Based on theoretical and practical research, proposing the management measures
to organize experiential and career - oriented activities in the direction of developing the quality and capacity of students in high schools in Hanoi city contributes to improving the quality of comprehensive education in the current context of reforming general education

The socio - economic and educational situation of Hanoi city has a direct influence on planning, organizing, steering, checking, evaluating and ensuring the conditions for effective organizational management experiential and career - oriented activities in the direction of boosting the quality and capacity of students in the area
2.2 Organizing a situation survey
2.2.1 Survey purpose
In order to fully and objectively assess the actual situation of organizing and managing the organization of experiential and career - oriented activities in the direction of developing the quality and capacity of students in high schools in Hanoi city; establish the practical basis of the thesis
2.2.3 Survey object and area
- Survey subjects are leaders of the Department of Education and Training; Management Officers, teachers and students of high schools
- The survey area is 12 high schools in the inner city and 18 high schools in the suburbs

Trang 122.3 Actual situation of organizing experience and career guidance activities in the direction of developing students' quality and capacity in high schools in Hanoi
The experiential and career-oriented activities have been promulgated by the
Ministry of Education and Training since 2018 together with the 2018 Education Program However, until the 2020 - 2021 school year that the implementation began at the primary level (grade 1); the 2021 - 2022 school year, implementation began at the lower secondary level (grade 6) and in the 2022 - 2023 school year, implementation begin at the high school level (grade 10) Therefore, with the survey time determined to be in the academic years
2020 - 2021 and 2021 - 2022, the thesis will not survey the actual situation of organizing the experiential and career-oriented activities, as well as the management of the organization of the experiential and career-oriented activities, (will be presented later, in section 2.4) but only survey the response to these contents of high school administrators and teachers In fact, right after the Ministry of Education and Training released the Program of experiential and career-oriented activities, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training directed high schools to scrutinize and apply Some schools have restructured extracurricular activities in the direction of experience Students themselves can also participate in educational activities outside of class hours in the direction of experience
In this section, the thesis examines students' perception of the concept and the
meaning of experiential and career - oriented activities; survey the perception of managers and teachers about the importance of organizing experiential and career -oriented activities
in the direction of developing the quality and capacity of students in high schools The obtained results show that the awareness of the subjects about the issues raised for the survey is still not high
At the same time, the thesis investigate: The actual situation of meeting the requirements of organizing the implementation of the objectives of experiential and career
- oriented activities in the direction of developing the quality and capacity of students and teachers; The status of meeting the requirements of using the implementation of the content of experiential and career-oriented activities in the direction of developing teachers' and students’ qualities and capacity; The reality of meeting the requirements of applying the method of organizing experiments and activities in the direction of developing the quality of teachers and the capacity of students; The reality of meeting the requirements of using the forms of organizing experiential and career - oriented activities
