In today's integration trend, English has become an indispensable tool inhuman communication and business activities Vietnam is no exception in terms ofdeveloping English education from primary school to university level so thatEnglish gradually becomes an indispensable condition in assisting the country'sdevelopment Stemming from the increasing demand for learning English, TungTran Vietnam LLC was founded in response to the growing demand for Englishinstruction, with the goal of providing learners with a professional English learningenvironment Since its inception more than four years ago, the company has madeconsistent efforts, attracted thousands of students, and achieved numerousoutstanding achievements in the field of international language training

At Tung Tran English Center, the staff and teachers are always striving toprovide the best lessons for the children and to help them use English moreeffectively Despite being officially established for four years, all Tung TranVietnam employees strive to make more valuable contributions to society in thespirit of young people in the 21 century After a month of internship at Tung TranVietnam, I gained valuable knowledge and experience in English teaching With thehelp of my supervisor and team leader, I gained an understanding of how aneducation company operates

I would like to thank the English lecturers at Thuongmai University as well asthe staff at Tung Tran Vietnam for their assistance in completing this report.Because the internship lasted only a month and I worked online during that time,mistakes were unavoidable when writing this report I eagerly await your feedback

CHAPTER 1: GENERAL REVIEW OF TUNG TRAN VIETNAM LIMITED

LIABILITY 1.1 Information about the company

1.1.1 General information and development

Tung Tran Vietnam LLC was founded in 2018 as a company involved ineducation After only four years in business, this company has quickly establisheditself as a prestigious educational training organization in Hanoi, specializing inEnglish courses for both children and adults With many years of study and workexperience in the United States, founder Tran Thanh Tung has created an extremelyeffective learning and interactive environment as a reliable address for developingcommunicative English and quality grammar for children at a reasonable cost with ateam of dedicated, knowledgeable, and energetic teachers

The company's highlight is the provision of high-quality education coursesboth online and offline, with the goal of providing the best English courses tochildren across the country Furthermore, the company manages the adult onlinecourse business directly After more than four years of growth, the company nowhas two branches in Hanoi and over 500 teachers throughout the country.

1.1.2 Mission and vision

Training and fostering to improve English ability for students in primary andsecondary schools, as well as working people, in order to improve communicationand grammar learning ability

"Passionate and good at English" is Tung Tran Vietnam's developmentprinciple with the goal of instilling a passion for English and imparting basic toadvanced English skills to all students, resulting in success With a high level ofspecialization, the center strives to provide its students with the most effective andoptimal solutions at the lowest cost and highest quality - "Best quality, Cheapestprice."

1.2 Business field

The company works in the education business, and its main product is Englishclasses for students of various ages All the course books are developed by the CEOand R&D department Besides offline classes, online classes are held through Zoomwith the model of 1 teacher – 1 student For children, offline classes are onlyavailable for children For adults, the company now only provides the form ofonline 1-1 classes

 English for children: The main product is English courses for children Thecourses are designed at various levels to accommodate each student's ability to testthe entrance, which includes communication and grammar The age ranges from 5

to 15 years old and they are divided into many other levels

 English for adults: This course is designed to help students communicate inEnglish with common questions in everyday life and at work Almost all customersare people who know a little bit about English However, because they have notused it for a long time, they are unable to speak English fluently or with standardpronunciation

1.3 Training program

 Offline class:

Offline classes are organized depending on the age of the children The model

of an offline class is 1 teacher, 1 teacher assistant, and about 15-20 students Theteaching program for this type of class is designed with many activities

 Online class:

- Vocabulary: This program includes 3 levels: AA, BB, and CC and the

difficulty increases according to the learning ability of each student after finishingthe previous course

 Level AA: contains 25 fairly basic vocabulary topics as well as four bonussections Each topic contains 10-15 vocabulary words, and students will learn 1-2topics per lesson, depending on their level of learning

 Level BB: includes 50 vocabulary topics and increases the number of words

in each topic to 15-18 words In one lesson, students will learn about two topics

 Level CC: 50 vocabulary topic This level, however, is supplemented withcommon questions that assist children in becoming accustomed to communicating

in English and laying the groundwork for higher levels in the communication class

At each level, the topic of the lesson provides many new words with illustratedimages and without Vietnamese meaning to make students use both theirmemorization skills through listening and viewing In addition, students willpractice more communication skills in each lesson through short conversationsusing words learned in that lesson

- Communication: This program is divided into 5 main levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and

5 Each level will be designed to break down the knowledge of the main level, such

as levels 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 2.2, to match the ability of each student to acquireknowledge Most of the students in this course have a basic understanding ofEnglish, but their responses are slow or they do not know how to answer thequestion completely

- Grammar: This course is based on the national educational program for

primary and secondary schools

- Communication for adults: This course is intended for people who work in

an English-related field and need to improve their English to advance in theircareers Because it only takes the form of a 1-1 online class, they can study in theirspare time

1.4 Organizational structure

The personnel team at the center is made up of four major departments and isoverseen directly by General Manager The CEO is in charge of deciding thecenter's development strategies The center has a team of professional, creative, andenthusiastic employees for each department

 Function of Departments:

- CEO: The CEO is in charge of evaluating and deciding on long-term andshort-term strategies for the company based on the plans of the departments, as well

as monitoring the implementation of important company activities

- General Manager: General Director is directly responsible for supervisingand managing the departments in order to ensure that they operate in accordancewith the company's efficiency, goals, and strategies In addition, he reviews andevaluates the company's achieved goals; accepts and handles unexpected situations

- H&R Department: This department is responsible for recruiting excellentcandidates suitable for each position in the company as well as monitoring

vacancies in collaboration with management This department is also in charge ofnew employee orientation, employee benefits, human resource assessment, andadjustments.

- Training Department: The training department's task is to create educationalproducts (English courses) based on market research and to identify learners' needsand desires At the same time, this is the department in charge of training andteaching, bringing these courses to students in the best way possible

- Account Department: manages the budget, monitors the center's revenueand expenditure, manages all bills and documents, and reports the budget situation

to the director as needed

- Marketing & Sales: The department's function is to implement marketingstrategies to expand Tung Tran Vietnam LLC's brand name, attract customers'attention, and thus increase sales At that point, the sales department will be incharge of advising and selling courses that are appropriate for each customer

( The data from account department)Through 4 years of development since its establishment, Tung Tran VietnamLLC provides English courses to more than 12000 students Founded in June 2018,yet the company has already had a successful first year During the period of theCOVID-19 pandemic (2019-2020), the company encountered many difficulties inthe business process However, before the period of 2020-2021, the companyalready knows how to thrive in online courses, so it can overcome this difficultperiod and increase in the following years

1.2 Information about the internship department

At Tung Tran Vietnam, I am in charge of two departments: training and sales,but I am primarily in charge of the training department's tasks

1.2.1 Specific functions and tasks of the Training Department

The training department is responsible for training teachers and examiners anddeveloping the content of the main course books for different levels Each courselasts from 20 to 100 sessions, depending on the needs of the students and the needs

of the student’s parents Each course has three tests: an entrance test, a midterm test,and a final test Students will take an entrance test administered by the examiner,after which the examiner will evaluate and select the appropriate level of study forthe student The examiner is the person who directly checks, records the results,gives an assessment, and sends it back to the teacher who is teaching that studentfor the next two tests

Every month, the training department will hold an online meeting to train all

of the company's teachers on effective teaching methods and how to handle

common problems that students encounter during the course At the same time, thedirector will respond to teachers' questions and concerns about the teaching process.The teacher writes a report after each lesson summarizing what was seen and whatneeds to be changed to improve teaching skills Any feedback from teachers andexaminers will assist the cereal R&D team in developing and improving theeducational program to make it a better version.

Furthermore, the training department is responsible for controlling coursequality by monitoring lessons and exam results in order to ensure the quality oflectures and the best learning environment for students at the center; collaboratewith the R&D department to tailor the curriculum accordingly

1.2.2 Specific functions and tasks of the Sales Department

The sales department's primary responsibility is to find customers and advisethem on courses at the center Each sales team has four members: a team leader,salespersons, examiners, and teachers

- The team leader is in charge of managing the remaining three staffmembers as well as all classes that have registered or are in the process of learningthe course in order to track students' progress and make important announcements
