Anne Frank was a Jewish victim of the Holocaust known for keeping a diary of her experiences in a concentration camp Anne was born in 1929 in Germany She was given a diary for her 13th birthday Ann started to write about everyday events in her diary, things that might appear trivial like what she ate or arguments she had with her mother But later her diary helped form a picture of what life was like during this historical period When the Nazis found eight people from Anne’s family in their hiding place, they sent them to concentration camps As the conditions in the
