Survey: One hundred and seventy women entrepreneurs in Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc provinces

Women

entrepreneurship has received increasing attention, but they still face majot critical limitations

Regarding the reviews from listed above literatures, there is a assumption that the women and women entrepreneurship are empowered in emerging countries as a whole, and in Vietnam individually (Nimalathasan, 2010) Particularly, Vietnam has been a leading country for women taken the leader roles among Asia (Vietnam: Vietnam leads Asia in women leadership: Deloitte global 2017) Furthermore, in Vietnam, Women leader roles are highly regarded and valued However, there are some limitations and obstacles to enhance their promoting opportunities within their career path In a study, the author identified that the traditional perception of women’s roles in families is the major barrier limiting in broaden social roles (Vu, Barnett, Duong

& Lee, 2019) In a higher position levels, the workforce still maintain the in-confidence toward women entrepreneurship which leads to the difficulty in attracting employees in those business (Zhu, Kara, Chu, & Chu,2015)

3 Methodology

The methodology to be used in this research project will predominantly revolve across the possibility of using secondary data associated with qualitative research comprised of previous research paper on the topic, articles by highly credible authors, and finally data and statistics published in the case study Unique identities In this case, the roles and presence of entrepreneurial women or women will be seen in leadership in emerging countries I'll then collect all relevant qualitative data and secondary data to then do my own data analysis and draw my own conclusion the research project

Trang 6

3.2 Justification for choice of methodology and methods

Secondary research, particularly qualitative research is the most appropriate choice of mine in doing this research Secondary research is based on proven data that has been analyzed and filtered previously Qualitative analysis can come in many forms and have several advantages The research material published in the research reports and similar documents are included in the secondary research The public libraries, databases, data obtained from surveys already completes, respectively will make these documents available Many government and non-governmental agencies often store data, which can be used and processed for research purposes

The reasoning behind the use of secondary research is the fact that 6 months are not sufficient

to reflect the idea of a properly performed primary peer-check study Qualitative research is also easy for users to access, but secondary sources might have both deliberate and unconscious inconsistencies in each report (Sparrow, p 2014) Therefore, the use of several secondary sources over a long period of time will help to mitigate this possibility of prejudice to reduce the possibility of analyzing the use of preliminary data (Sparrow, P 2014)

Vietnam is the country selected to do the research on the women's leadership and entrepreneurship regarding the nature of its transitional periods of economics Vietnam is noted

as a significant emerging nation in Asia recently It leads to the integration in terms of business and perception in the society Therefore, the role of women in Vietnam has seen a rapid change Furthermore, the government policies are recently promoting and protecting the equality of women in the workforce which enhance the opportunities to women attending the business Hence, in Vietnam, the opportunities and challenges to business women are the integration of traditional concepts and internationalization Research on Vietnam economies would provide the image of the positive and negative aspects of women opportunities during a special period of an emerging nation

The scope of this research is a top down identification of the women leadership in Vietnam It would start with the nature of the economy condition that impact on the women’s leadership and entrepreneurship Then, the opportunities in both policies and economic factors on the women’s promoting aspects are explores It would be finalized with the major challenges to their career path The result of this research will then the discussion on predict of the future prospects of Vietnamese women’s leadership

Trang 7

3.4 Limitations of the research design

Although this research is conducted data published on authorized journals and sources, the research on the Vietnamese economies are limited There are not many researchers doing research on this nation Furthermore, secondary information may be changed over time from official publishing websites, which makes it difficult to compare data if it is not the same over time Documents may also be lacking in authenticity and validity, making it difficult to check if the data is partial If data collected for different research purposes is used, these samples cannot be considered in sufficient detail by the population researchers Administrative information not initially obtained for analysis may not be usable or accessible in the normal study formats

With respect to the ethical questions that may arise, the secondary data that I collect and analyze will be accurately cited in this study to avoid any plagiarism This study should be done with reliable resources that can be examined and analyzed in the context of the company problem
