I AIMS:

IV PROCEDURES:

ACTIVITY 1: WARM-UP (5’)

 Aims: Arouse students’ interest review

some vocabulary in the previous lesson,

and lead to the topic of today’ lesson

Contents: Students work in groups

 Products: Students’ answers

 Organization:

- Introduce the instruction of the game to

the student

- Divide students into 4 groups

- Ask students to play the game

- Check students’ answers

- Announce the winner

- Listen to the instructions carefully

- Form 4 groups

- Play the game in groups

- Check the answers with the teacher

GAME: A or B

- There will be a picture of a person

and two possible answers A and B

- If you think the answer is A, you

should make a heart

- If you think the answer is B, you

should raise your hands

- If all the members of the group have the correct answer, the group will receive 1 point

- The group having the most point will be the winner

ACTIVITY 2 : KNOWLEDGE

FORMATION (17’)

Aims: Teacher helps the student to revise some

verb and their form in the past tense and

understand the context and general idea of the

text

Contents: Students listen and repeat new words

individual/pairs/groups

Products: Students can revise some verbs and

their forms in the past tense and understand the

context and general idea of the text

Organization:

Pre-reading

Set context:

- THINK

- Read the questions with the class and ask for

their answer

- Teacher goes around the class and helps them

Reviewing vocabulary:

these words through various techniques

(simple English, picture, translation)

- Work in groups and talk about the question based on their background knowledge

- Listen to the teacher

- Listen carefully and answer the question if necessary

Exercise 1:

while calling some random students to

read the whole text in order to answer it

because it is asking about the general

meaning

and write it down on their mini-board

(The fastest group to raise the board with the

correct answer will receive some plus points.)

 Aims: Students can apply the knowledge

which they have learned to do the tasks

given as well as develop reading skills

 Contents: Students work individually/

 pairs/ groups

 Products: Students’ answers

 Organization:

- Allow students time to read the

sentences

- Point out that for this task students need

to read and listen carefully to find

specific information, to decide if the

sentences are true or false

- Play the audio

- Ask students to compare their answers in

pairs

- Check the answer by using physical

gestures

 the lesson

 Contents: Students work in groups

Organization:

- Ask more questions to extend the discussion

(Extended question in the handout)

- Ask students to work in pairs, ask and answer

the extended question

- Use the “lucky star” in the handout to choose

some pairs to perform

- Give feedback

- Answer the question individually

- Pay attention to the extended question

- Ask and answer the extended question

in pairs in 2 minutes

Exercise 4: (10') Use it! What do you think of Munish's special picture? Has your family got a lot of photos?

Question:

"How often do you take photos? What do you usually take photos of? Do you take them on a camera or your phone? How many photos do you have on your camera / phone? Do you sometimes take photos of yourself? "
