UNIT 14: WHAT’S YOUR ADDRESS?

Lesson 2: 4, 5, 6

I.Objectives After the lesson, students are able to:

- Use the words and phrases related to the topic : Talking about stories

- Ask and answer questions about someone’s opinions of a book/

story/character

- Develop Ss listening and speaking skills

II.Language

-T recalls new words

-Sts follows T’s instructions

- Tell Ss that they are going to listen to the recording and tick

- Play the recording for Ss to listen

your favourite

book

- Tell the class that they are going

to write about their favourite book

- Have them answer the questions and check their understanding

- Set a time limit for Ss to do the task independently

- Monitor the activity and offer help,if necessary

- Call some Ss to read aloud their writing

- Ask others to give feedback - T asks Ss do the task for 5 minutes

T goes around for help, if necessary

- T calls some Ss go to the board and write down their answers

- Tell the class that they are going

- Divide the class into two teams

Give each team sheets with the same set of phrases from a story

Each member of the teams has one sheet Ss with the phrases should line up to form the sentence

- The team which has the most

points wins the game.
