1 Look, listen and repeat
- Have Ss look at each picture and get
them identify the familiar characters and
the new ones Point to each character and
ask: Who is this? Do you know him/ her?
Where’s he/ She? What are they talking
about?
- Write the new vocabulary on the board “
headache, fever, hot, What’s the matter
with you?”and get pupils to say the words
at a few times
- Play the recording twice: once for pupils
to listen all the way through and once for
them to repeat Pause after each line for
them to repeat a few times
- Divide the class into groups to take
turns to say the lines from Tony, mother
and his father.
