I Objectives.

After the lesson, Ss will be able to:

- Use the words and phrases related to the topic: Activities in free time

- Listen to the recording and tick

- Develop 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing

II.Language focus.

1 Vocabulary: review: surf the Internet,do karate,clean the house.

2 Sentence Patterns: review

+What do you do in your free time? - I

III.Teaching aids.

- Equipments in English room.

- Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette

IV Produres.

Good morning/ afternoon!

Who is absent today?

B Warm up.

- Play a game: Miming

- Model playing

C New lesson.

4 Listen and complete.

-Tell Ss that they are going to listen to

the recording and tick the right pictures.

- Play the recording for Students to listen

- Ask Ss to listen again and do the task

- Have them give answers

- Play the recording again for Ss to listen

and check

- Give correct answers:

1 b 2 a 3.b

5 Read and complete.

- Tell the class that they are going to read

and fill the sentences

- Give Students a few times to read the

6 Let’s play

-Tell the lass thay they are going to play a

matching game

-Divide the class into groups of ten.Give

each pupil in each group a piece of paper

with one of the following

words/phrases:go,surf,clean,play,watch,

Cartoons,the Internet,badminton,the

room,

to the cinema.When one pupil in the

group holds up the piece of paper with go

- Work individually

- Do the task

- Give answers

- Listen the rule of the game

- Play the game with group

and says the word aloud,the pupil who

has the peice of paper with to the cinema

holds it up and say the word aloud The

game continues until all the pieces of

papaer are matched

- The group that finishes the game the

quickest wins
