UNIT 13: WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR FREE TIME?

I Objectives.

After the lesson, Ss will be able to:

- Use the words and phrases related to the topic : Activities in free time.

- Ask and answer questions about what a familyactivites in her/his time

- Develop Ss listening and speaking skills

II.Language focus.

1 Vocabulary:go fishing,go swimming,go skating,go camping.

2 Sentence Patterns:

+ What does your do in his/her? – He/She

+ How often does he/she? - everyday/once/twice a week.

III.Teaching aids

- Equipments in English room

- Books, teachers’ book, notebooks, cards and cassette

A Class organization

Good morning/ afternoon!

Who is absent today?

B Warm up

- Ask Ps play Pass the secret,using the

words learnt in lesson 1.When the game

is over, ask them to ask and answer the

question :What do you do in your free

time?

C New lesson

1 Look, listen and repeat.

- Tell Ss that they are going to listen to a

dialogue between Tony and Akiko

- Ask Ss to look at the book and listen to

the tape

- Play the recording for Ss listen

- Ask them repeat a few times

- Repeat the procedure with the rest

- Practice with Ss

- Divide the class into 2 groups Then ask

Ss to practice in pairs

each other`s addresses

- Remind them to use the questions and

answers in their books:

time?

+How often does he/she ?

- Set a time limit for the class to practise

- Monitor the activity and offer help, if

necessary

- Call some Ss to practise in front of the
