Ví dụ tình huống:
- You are looking for Bob Nobody is sure where he is but you get some suggestions.B

You: Where's Bob?
Bob đang ở đâu?
He maybe in his office (= Có lẽ anh ấy đang ở trong văn phòng của anh ấy.)

Chúng ta sử dụng may hay might để nói về điều gì đó có khả năng xảy ra Bạn có thể sử dụng may hay might đều được
Ví dụ:
- It may be true hoặc It might be true (=perhaps it is true).Điều đó có thể đúng
- She might know hoặc she may know.Có thể cô ấy biết
Hình thức phủ định của may là may not
Hình thức phủ định của might là might not hay mightn't
Ví dụ:
- It might not be true (perhaps it isn't true)

- I'm not sure whether I can lend you any money I may not have enough
(perhaps I don't have enough)
