To stay competitive in today’s rapidly evolving landscape, it’s essential for translators to continuously upgrade their skillsets Expanding vocabulary is a crucial first step, and one of the most valuable sources of new words and expressions is pop culture Leveraging insights from our generation's trends and media can significantly enhance a translator's language proficiency and cultural understanding.
Over the past decade, the number of new words and slang terms has increased dramatically, reflecting evolving language trends Our generation tends to create and spread new expressions rapidly, often without fully considering their long-term impact This influx of fresh vocabulary is shaping the language of the future, highlighting the dynamic nature of modern communication.
As a result, the translators need to always keep up with the game so they can perform their tasks professionally and smoothly.

Throughout the process of completing this report, I have significantly enhanced my skills, particularly in online information retrieval Thanks to technology, tasks that once seemed difficult can now be accomplished instantly with just a click The use of computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools such as Grammarly, Flitto, and Wordfast has greatly streamlined my workflow Embracing these technological resources has made translation work more efficient, demonstrating how modern tools can substantially improve a translator's productivity Additionally, accessing regularly updated online dictionaries from Oxford and Cambridge helps me verify terms quickly, further enhancing the quality and accuracy of my translations Overall, technology has revolutionized the way translators work, making their tasks more efficient and precise.

THE DISADVANTAGES
During the period covered by this report, I experienced a lack of clear direction, which was my main concern Unlike previous classes where students were assigned internships at translation companies and organizations, providing clear guidelines and objectives, I initially felt confused about my responsibilities However, with the support of my supervisor and friends, I was able to adapt quickly and overcome these challenges.
CONCLUSION & SUGGESTIONS
Over the past six weeks, students have gained valuable experience and insights into the daily challenges faced by translators, for which I am truly grateful Although my results did not fully meet my original expectations, I believe I have accomplished a commendable job The topic of pop culture offers rich potential for further research and study, but due to my limited knowledge and experience, I am unable to delve deeper into this area within this report.
