- Pupils can recognize and say the sound /v/

- Pupils can develop fine motor control

II Procedures

*Warm up: Review the known letters of the alphabet.

A Presentation

1 Learn the letter

Step 1: Say umbrella, up, van and volcano Pupils repeat the words.

Step 2: Write them on the board and read aloud the words.

Step 3: Have pupils repeat the letter and letter sound.

Step 4: Tell pupils to practice.

B Practice

2 Sing

Step 1: Play the CD Tell pupils to listen to the song.

Step 2: Play the CD again and pause after each line Sing the line and tell pupils to

repeat after teacher

Step 3: Play CD again and ask pupils to sing the song.

C Production

3 Find

Step 1: Tell pupils to find the letter u and v in the alphabet.

Step 2: Tell pupils to look at the picture at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Repeat with all the characters on the page
