Nowadays, we can see e-commerce dominating the global market Almost all product types, categories and services are advertised, marketed, sold online With the increasing acceptance of e-commerce around the globe as well as the growth of the internet, it is now easier than ever for anyone to launch a brand or product, anywhere in the world, and compete globally This narrows the gap between developing countries and developed countries, democratizes the markets and opens door to greater opportunities and global trade
We acknowledge the English Department of Ton Duc Thang University for equipping students with basic knowledge of international business and trends, to help give students better opportunities to participate in e-commerce As such, 5Foods is born With a mission to bring high quality products at affordable prices,
we believe it can meet the needs of consumers looking for healthy, nutritious foods, with the convenience of online shopping Using the B2C Model, we will market, sell, deliver online, reaching more customers through branding and e-commerce platform Making it easy for customers to shop at the convenience of their own home and get honest and transparent information about products, ingredients and other customers’ reviews

Delivery is an important factor to your company’s success Because nowadays, most customers want fast and affordable delivery If they don’t get it the first time, they won’t shop with you anymore
Here are the steps of the basic delivery process:
1 Receive orders from internal customer services team: When the customer orders goods, the customer services team will confirm the customer’s name, phone number and address Then, the sales team will inform delivery team to start the delivery process
2 Receive goods from warehouse: After confirming order from the customer services team the delivery team will go to the warehouse to pick up the goods, for delivery after checking
3 Delivery to the customer: After receiving goods from the warehouse, the delivery team will confirm the address on the order, call the customer, and deliver the goods to customer
4 Cash on delivery: After the customer receive and check the goods, if everything
is okay the delivery team will receive cash from customer with a “Thank you” If the goods have any problems (different from the order, or damaged goods) the delivery team will apologize to the customer, check at the warehouse, and deliver the correct goods to customer again
5 Send cash to Accounting team: After completing order, and receiving cash from customer per order, the delivery team will give cash to the accounting team

2.4 The difference between the theory and the practice
Experiencing e-commerce business for the first time, I feel like I have learned a lot Besides, it was also difficult because the practice was quite different from the theory

to deliver because of traffic jam That made my delivery 20 minutes late and the customer complained a lot to me

After more than a month of internship in the e-commerce field, I realize that the e-commerce industry really has a huge impact on people, especially young people After starting an e-commerce company in snacks industry, through online advertising and sales, it has been well received by customers a lot, especially the students
Through that time, I feel that I have learned a lot, pushed myself hard in applying
my knowledge, to help me before entering the real working environment I have applied theories and skills such as teamwork, leadership etc In my working process I also have the opportunity to reach out and understand other team members better, so we can improve our working relationships together Besides that, there are also things I feel that
I haven’t really done well such as having not approached places outside the city, only selling and delivering within the city
Finally, in the future I want to develop and expand 5FOOD Company, expand other media channels such as Instagram or Twitter to have more customers, and import more items such as cakes or candies because these are the favorite items of the students And I hope to be with 5FOOD company for a longer time to develop together, I believe that will come true
