I THẾ NÀO LÀ CÂU HỎI ĐUÔI?

2 You haven’t seen Linh today, have you ?

Câu hỏi đuôi (Tag Question) là một dạng câu hỏi ngắn được đặt ở đằng sau một câu trần thuật để lấy thông tin hoặc để khẳng định lại ý vừa hỏi, loại câu hỏi này luôn đứng sau dấu phẩy (,) và tận cùng là dấu chấm hỏi (?).

II NGUYÊN TẮC THÀNH LẬP CÂU HỎI

ĐUÔI

1 Cách sử dụng trợ động từ phù hợp ở vế câu hỏi đuôi.

Example: a My brother is here, isn’t he?

positive statement negative statement ( khẳng định) ( phủ định)

b You haven’t seen Linh today, have you?

Notes:

- Thể phủ định của câu hỏi đuôi luôn ở dạng

viết tắt.

Ex: He is a good driver , is not he ? ( wrong )

He is a good driver , isn’t he ? ( right )

2 Cách sử dụng S ở vế câu hỏi đuôi.

Example:

1.He can come before 8 tomorrow morning, can’t he?

2 Lan didn’t get up early, did she? ( not Lan)

3 The farmers are growing rice, aren’t they?(not the farmers)

- Danh từ số ít He/She/It

-Danh từ số nhiều They

-Tên riêng He/ She/ They/ It

( chỉ người, vật)
