I OBJECTIVES:

1 Aim: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to:

+ Speak about the inventions using passive forms

+ Listen about paper making

2 Knowledge:

X-ray (n), loudspeaker (n), helicopter (n), laser (n), optical fiber (n), pulp

(n), vat (n), roll (n), convey (n)

+ Structures: Passive forms.

+ Pronunciation:

3 Skills: Speaking, Listening and writing.

II PREPARATION:

1 Teacher: Lesson plan, text book, cassette, tape, pictures, projector.

1 Pre – listening:

- Introduce the scene and some new words: pulp (n), vat

(n), roll (n), convey (n)

- Ask Ss to read the sentences and guess the missing

words

- Get feedback and write on the board

2 While - listening:

- Play the tape for Ss to listen and check their predictions

- Get feedback and play the tape again for them to check

their answer

- Give correct answer

3 Post – Listening:

- Ask Ss to listen to the text again and order the

sentences

- Check the answer with class
