- Hành động xảy ra theo các buổi, ngày, tuần, tháng, mùa:
In the morning/ afternoon/ evening: vào buổi sáng/ chiều/
tối
On Mondays/ at weekends: vào các thứ hai, cuối tuần.

1- COMPARISONS
A/ So sánh bằng: (equality)
S + V + AS ADJ/ ADV AS + S
This new house is as expensive as that one.
B/ So sánh hơn: (Comparatives)
Tính từ ngắn: S1 + V + ADJ/ADV- ER + THAN + S2
Tính từ dài: S1 1+ V + MORE + ADJ/ ADV + THAN + S2
He ran faster than his friends did.
Films are more interesting than plays.
He is more intelligent than Peter.
C/ So sánh nhất; (Superlatives)
Tính từ ngắn: S + V + THE ADJ –EST + N
Tính từ dài: S + V + THE MOST + ADJ + N.

Winter is the coldest in the year?
Note: - Tính từ ngắn: 1 vần và 2 vần như: happy, pleasant, quiet
- Tính từ dài: các tính từ 2 vần trở lên như : interesting, beautiful, expensive
- So sánh các tính từ đặc biệt: good → better/ the best;
bad → worse/ the worst;
little → less/ the least;
many → more/ the most;
far → farther/ further/ the farthest/ further

Notes: - Câu cảm thán dùng để khen ngợi (Compliment) hay than phiền (complaint) điềâu gì
đó.
- Dùng a/ an khi danh từ đếm được số ít.
- A đứng trước các phụ âm, AN đứng trước các nguyên âm ( U, E, O, A, I)
- Không dùng a/ an khi danh từ ở số nhiều hoặc danh từ không đếm được.
1 Cách dùng a few, fewer, more:
a A few: môt vài, một ít (nhưng đủ)
- dùng kèm với danh từ đếm được số nhiều
- I have a few books
b Fewer: là hình thức so sánh hơn của ( few - a few)
- dùng kèm với danh từ đếm được số
- He has fewer days off than we.
c More: là hình thức so sánh hơn của ( a lot of / many /much)
- dùng kèm với dtừ đếm được hoặc không đếm được
- Do you have more hours than Hoa?
2 Lot, lots, many, any:
a) many /a lot of/ lots of : dùng với danh từ số nhiều và số ít, trong câu khẳng định.
There are a lots of/ lots of students in that school.
There are many students in that school.
c) Any: dùng với danh từ số nhiều và số ít, trong câu nghi vấn
Is there any water in the bottle?
Are there any books on the table?
