LOCATION AND BUILDINGS.
The University is located at Granville, Licking county,Ohio, three and one-halfmiles north of Union Station^ on
the Central Ohio Eailroad, and six miles west ofI^ewark,
in one of the most beautiful and healthful portions of the
West, andin acommunitydistinguishedfor intelligenceand
morality
Thebuildings consist ofonebrickedifice, onehundred and
thirty-threefeetlong, and four stories high,containing four
recitation rooms, library, cabinet, and rooms with doubleapartments for the accommodation of about seventy-fivestudents, and a frame edifice, containing single rooms and
capable ofaccommodatingforty students
Another college building is now in course of erection,
which, in addition to commodious chapel and recitation
rooms,willfurnishaccommodationforamuch largernumber
of students
Students are also permitted, at the discretion of theFaculty, to obtain accommodations at private families in
the village
TERMS AND VACATIONS.
The Commencement is held on the last Thursday in June
of eachyear The Collegeyear consistsof fortyweeks, and
isdivided into three terms, as follows: TheFallTermof 15weeks, the Winter Termof 13 weeks, and the Spring Term
of 12weeKs Thewintervacation, which includes the
holi-days,willbe twoweeks,and the spring recess, at the close
of thewinter term, willbe fromWednesdayto the following
Monday
