y o u n g accounting history re-searchers to interact with m o r e
e x p e r i e n c e d r e s e a r c h e r s a n d
h a v e a chance to present ac-counting history research papers
in conjunction w i t h attending the
A m e r i c a n A c c o u n t i n g Associa-tion meeting G i v e n that m u c h of the A c a d e m y ' s focus this year
w a s on the 9t h W o r l d C o n gress
in M e l b o u r n e Australia, the pres-entation of eighteen papers far exceeded expectations A d d i tionally, accounting history r e -searchers representing several countries, including England, Italy, Canada, N e w Zealand, Australia, Japan, and South Af-rica, contributed greatly to the success of the conference program
