TRANSFER STUDENTS

 Minimum of 2.3 college GPA

 Minimum TOEFL score of 70 or IELTS score of 6.0 (if required)

Prior to your appointment, please submit an application to Fairleigh Dickinson University online application and fee payment of $50 For instructions, visit www.fdu.edu/apply

Required Documents

 Completed FDU or Common Application (submitted online) Print and bring a copy of the completed application to the appointment

 Transcripts from all high schools/universities attended

 TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE score (waivers for students with qualifying English language

courses and grades)

 SAT or ACT scores (optional for most academic programs though recommended to be considered for our most competitive scholarships)-Freshmen applicants only

Requirements for Appointment (Freshman)

 Minimum 2.7 GPA (on 4.0 scale)

 English language requirement for direct admission: SAT ERW 480+, TOEFL 79+,

IELTS overall band 6.0+, PTE 53+ or qualifying English language courses and grades

in high school

 For Nursing: SAT minimum 1100 (new SAT) or 1020 (old SAT) or ACT 22

 For Computer Science and Engineering programs: 3 units of a laboratory science

including Physics and Chemistry and 4 units of college prep math, including precalculus Calculus is strongly recommended

 Minimum 2.0 GPA (on 4.0 scale)

Felician University International Instant Decision Day Requirements

Application

Any student who signs up for an appointment with Felician University is not required to have already applied to the university If the student has applied, the applicant must print out a copy of that application and bring it with them to the appointment If the applicant has not applied, a paper application will be provided at the appointment

 High school or post-secondary school transcript

 TOEFL or IELTS scores (unless attended high school or community college in U.S for a

minimum of one-full year)

 A personal statement

 SAT (suggested but not required)

 Letters of recommendation (minimum one, maximum three)

Requirements for appointment

 Minimum TOEFL score of 65 iBT or IELTS score of 6.0 (if applicable)

 700 or higher on the Math and Critical Reading scores on the SAT (if applicable)

Nursing applicant requirements for appointment

 A grade of B- or higher in high school laboratory biology and chemistry

 A grade of B- in two years of university preparatory mathematics, including at least one year of algebra

Instant Decision Day Application Requirements

Prospective students can complete an online application by clicking ‘Apply Now’ on

www.mercy.edu A guide to the International Application Process can be found on our

International Admissions website: https://www.mercy.edu/admissions/international

The application fee of $45.00 will be waived

The application should be submitted online before the Instant Decision event If completing the hard copy application, the student should presented this on the day of the event, and the fee can be waived then also

There will be a limited amount of hard copies of the application available to complete on the day of the event

Documentation needed at appointment:

1 Application (preferably completed beforehand online)

2 Official Academic Transcripts and Foreign Academic Credential Evaluation for any foreign transcripts; evaluation of foreign transcripts are accepted from NACES, AICE or AACRAO

members ‘Official’ means that the transcript is sealed in an envelope from the institution, and

that there are no classes in progress on the transcript (all classes have been completed)

Otherwise, a conditional acceptance decision may be offered

-The minimum GPA accepted is 2.0, although this may differ for certain specialty programs

3 Official Proof of English Language Proficiency • 71 TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS for Undergraduate, and 80 TOEFL or 6.5 IELTS for Graduate ‘Official’ means the scores are presented in a sealed

envelope from the testing center **In certain cases, a waiver can be granted, if the student has official, acceptable documentation to prove that they have the sufficient English language level

For High school students: Academic High School Transcript Evaluations must be course by course evaluations

For Transfer students: Academic High School Transcript Evaluations can be general, and the University Transcript Evaluations must be course by course evaluations

Monmouth University International Instant Decision Day Requirements Application

No nursing applications can be considered at Instant Decision Day

Selective Admissions Programs

All students applying to a selective admissions program, Nursing, Diagnostic Medical

Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology or Physical Therapist Assistant will only be accepted with Health Science as the major and one of the programs of choice as a concentration Students must submit a portfolio to apply to the program by a specific deadline If accepted, then the student will be changed to the specific major and start the selective program For more
