The Steering Committee has an opening for one Citizen Representative Alice Armstrong,
Alicia Crank, Keith Dahlenburg and Tyler David Surabian Hanthorn have applied for this
position
Background:
SCT’s Operating Guidelines state that:
[The Steering Committee] shall select six additional members who shall be
Snohomish County citizens at large… [They] shall be accorded full participation in
Steering Committee meetings except for voting on decision items…The term …shall
be three (3) years…In the case of a mid-term vacancy, a replacement will be sought
to complete the existing 3-year term which will commence upon election by the
Steering Committee At least two (2) Citizen Representatives shall represent
unincorporated areas of Snohomish County…
All four applicants live in incorporated areas; Alice Armstrong in the City of Snohomish, Tyler David Surabian Hanthorn and Alicia Crank in the City of Edmonds and Keith Dahlenburg in the City of Monroe.The appointed representative would take on the position Faron Shanklin has held for the previous three years Their term would expire in February 2023
