TOTAL CME HOURS: 6 HOURS OF LECTURES

AND INSTRUCTIONS.

OVERVIEW

This course covers a wide range of clinical disciplines and

is designed to help the participant determine when to

order imaging studies when faced with a particular clinical

problem The target audience for this course is primary

care physicians, specialty physicians, nurse practitioners,

physician assistants and nurses.

TEACHING METHODS

The teaching method for this activity will be lectures and

interactive case study review.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this educational activity, participants

will be able to:

• Examine diagnostic imaging from the clinician’s

perspective.

• Identify common clinical situations and discuss their

differential diagnosis.

• Utilize diagnostic imaging studies to evaluate clinical

problems and their possible etiologies.
