reviewing and approving our brand new 2021-25 strategic plan and the 2021 budget We have lined

up some terrific business relevant speakers, such as

Dr Kevin Elko, who will inspire us to “get back in the game” We will also hear from Stacey Schroeder and Lisa Ryan about training and upskilling your staff, and keeping them engaged as we emerge from the pandemic We’re especially pleased to introduce Alex Chausovsky of ITR Economics who will provide

an industry economic outlook We have even added

a special executive session on Wednesday, October 14th with Lee Resnick, who is an expert at succession planning – something company owners are going to want to tune into

As I said, I’m really excited about the opportunities this virtual conference will bring to all IFI’s members Despite the convenience of a virtual event like this, moving forward, we are still working toward getting back to live, in-person meetings We all know it is this personal interaction, networking and camaraderie of our peers that makes IFI special We intend to carry that most important aspect forward as soon as it is safe to do so We’re looking forward to our Spring

2021 meeting in Scottsdale to get things back on track Until then, I look forward to “seeing” you all

at our virtual conference! Don’t forget to share this invitation with others at your company, as everyone

is welcome to join us

Kevin Johnson

Chairman

“Welcome to the first ever IFI virtual conference” – these are words I would not have expected

to ever say just six months ago I

am very glad we were able to get together in-person and have a great meeting this past Spring in Clearwater Cyndi and I are going

to miss seeing you all in-person this Fall, and we look forward to

a time when we can shake hands and spend time

together very soon Despite the obvious challenges

of networking during an online conference, I’m very

excited about this format

First, taking our meeting online at this time is

simply the safest thing to do Second, it saves the

travel expense during a difficult economic time

for everyone And third (and most importantly), it

provides an excellent opportunity for folks that have

never attended an IFI event to experience what

we’re all about To help you take advantage of this

opportunity, we’re very pleased to offer this online

event free of charge for any IFI member company

employee That means you should invite multiple

folks from your company to participate We have

many different presentations spread out over a

two-week period that should provide something for

everyone

We have an excellent event planned that will allow

us to take care of IFI’s important business, like
