This scholarship application must accompany the Core Arts general application
Scholarship applicants must apply for the Core Arts residential track
FINANCIAL NEED SCHOLARSHIP: REQUIRED INFORMATION
1) A copy of the family’s most recent IRS 1040 tax form
2) Essay—on why the applicant wishes to attend MSAI and its importance to their education (min 1 page, max 3 pages)
3) Letter of Recommendation—from someone familiar with the applicant’s artistic background and interests, (may not be a family member, max 2 pages)
4) E-Portfolio—to demonstrate the applicant’s artistic accomplishments and talent, please submit at least one or
more of the following to cholder@deltastate.edu:
a pictures of visual arts samples (.jpg, doc, or PDF)
b original writing examples such as poems, narratives, or newspaper articles (.doc or PDF)
c an audio CD or DVD that demonstrates musical, theatrical, or dance skills
d programs, playbills, and/or bulletins that show your participation in a performance
e copies of award certificates for artistic accomplishments
