For the past 14 Fraternal years, the Special Olympics program has grown tremendously I am proud to say 29 Councils and 8 Assemblies responded either through activities or financial support Last year was a banner year This year 3
breakfasts were held Because of your efforts, along with a contribution from Supreme, enough money was
raised to support 54 athletes This past year $13,660 was raised, and in 13 years over $125,000 was given to Special Olympics
We had Color Corps averaging 10 men per event, and over 1,500 athletes were 'HIGH-FIVED' Council 5502 sponsored
a bowling tournament Assembly 2636 sponsored a dinner and $700 was raised Council 16127 Hill AFB held a dine-to-donate Council 10304 will hold an Italian dinner The K of C have sponsored Special Olympics statewide through donation or
participation in activities The K of C nationally have been involved in Special Olympics for over 50 years Yes, we did more and yes we can do more Let's keep the ball rolling Please have your assemblies or councils plan to support an athlete, make a donation or participate in an activity The money raised goes to support athletes Remember Matthew 25 vs 39-40
"Whatever you do for the least of my brothers you do unto me." You'll feel good participating and you'll be helping others achieve their goals Please attend a SOUT event, and by all means bring your families and wear your KofC attire The games are FREE! Check out the SOUT website Thank you for your support
