Continuing Activities
The committee continues to recruit new ambassadors
through announcements in the NASIG Newsletter
through personal contact at the NASIG annual meeting
Committee members are to contact ambassadors a
minimum of twice a year to remind them that they will
be asked to make sure that their schools know about
the awards program Contact should be made in

The name of the committee was changed at the annual
conference The Library School Outreach Committee is
now the Student Outreach Committee, as the new
name better reflects the goals of reaching out to
different kinds of students, not just those enrolled in
library school
